Hermeto uma figura significativa na histria da msica brasileira, reconhecido principalmente por suas habilidades em orquestrao e improvisao, alm de ser produtor musical e colaborador de diversos lbuns nacionais e internacionais.[3] Conhecido como O Bruxo, Pascoal frequentemente faz msica com objetos no convencionais, como bules, brinquedos infantis e animais, bem como teclados, acordeo de botes, meldica, saxofone, violo, flauta, voz, vrios metais e instrumentos folclricos.Talvez por ter crescido no campo, usa a natureza como base para suas composies, como em sua Msica da Lagoa, em que os msicos borbulham gua e tocam flautas imersos em uma lagoa: uma emissora de televiso brasileira de 1999 o mostrou solando a certa altura, cantando em um copo com a boca parcialmente submersa na gua.
Hermeto is a significant figure in the history of Brazilian music, recognized mainly for his skills in orchestration and improvisation, as well as being a music producer and collaborator on several national and international albums.[3] Known as The Witcher, Pascoal often makes music with unconventional objects such as teapots, children's toys and animals, as well as keyboards, button accordion, melodica, saxophone, guitar, flute, voice, various brass and folk instruments.Perhaps because having grown up in the countryside, he uses nature as a basis for his compositions, as in his Msica da Lagoa, in which the musicians bubble water and play flutes immersed in a lagoon: a Brazilian television station in 1999 showed him soloing at one point, singing in a glass with the mouth partially submerged in water.
