Instrumental Duet Alto Saxophone,Instrumental Duet,Tenor Saxophone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.587525 Composed by Jeremiah Clarke. Arranged by David McKeown. Baroque,Concert,Instructional,Standards,Wedding. Score and parts. 3 pages. David McKeown #4355065. Published by David McKeown (A0.587525). The Prince of Denmark’s March is better known nowadays as the Trumpet Voluntary and is often used in wedding ceremonies. It was in fact written for organ, with the melody played on thetrumpet stop.  Written around 1700, for many years this piece was mistakenly attributed to Henry Purcell. Only recently has it been established that the composer was Jeremiah Clarke, organist at St Paul’s Cathedral. It is somewhat ironic that this composer of a wedding mainstay was himself a victim of unrequited love. He consequently shot himself in the cathedral graveyard. This full version is arranged as a duet for Alto and Tenor Saxophones and the performance time is around two and a half minutes. Of course, performers, especially at weddings, may wish to abridge and shorten the arrangement. This is easily done as the different sections are self-contained and the repeat may be ignored. The complete performance on youtube and the short audio sample are from the Clarinet Duet version of this arrangement. Musicians at an intermediate level and above will find this ideal for formal and informal performances, with both parts enjoying melodic interest. Teachers will enjoy using this arrangement as a fun way to help with strict time, full tone and dynamics. Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.876428 Composed by Joe Procopio. Blues,Pop. Score. 3 pages. JoeCopio Music LLC #1947. Published by JoeCopio Music LLC (A0.876428). A WOMEN’S BLUES By Joe Procopio From the CD ALL IN MY LIFE A WOMENS BLUES is a pop song describing the feelings of some women of today. The Blues is melancholic music and the lyrics of this song express a kind of pensive sadness with no apparent cause. The backing track of music however is uplifting. The result is a song with a curious combination of feelings that are both heartbroken and happy at the same time. There two recorded versions of this song. One was recorded in a studio in California the other is the original recording. The original is a homemade recording done in the Gymnasium of an Elementary School in New Woodstock, NY with Mark Freeman on Drums, brother Greg on both the Guitar and Flute solo, and Barbie Briars doing the vocals. You can also hear Barbie on The Touch, The Taste Of Time, Why Are You So Lonely, For You My God and Maybe It’s The Way. These recordings can be found at Sheet Music Plus, iTunes, Amazon, etc., on a CD entitled All In My Life by the author. The printed sheet music here shows the song as a Lead Sheet. That is, the melody, the lyrics and the chords. JOE PROCOPIO IS THE AUTHOR OF THE VERY BEST AND LOWEST PRICED MUSIC EBOOKS AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE INCLUDING THE AWARD WINNING BASIC MUSIC THEORY.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1303878 Composed by Carroll Loveday and Helmy Kresa. Arranged by Dave Gingras and John E. Dosher. Broadway,Film/TV,Jazz,Musical/Show. Score. 2 pages. DAVID LEE GINGRAS #893403. Published by DAVID LEE GINGRAS (A0.1303878). That's My Desire is a 1931 popular song with music by Helmy Kresa and lyrics by Carroll Loveday. The highest-charting version of the song was recorded by the Sammy Kaye orchestra in 1946, although a version of the song recorded by Frankie Laine has become better known over the years, being one of Laine's best-known recordings. It has been recorded by many other singers, including a number of doo-wop groups. This version was developed from the original 1931 sheet music and features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements - we hope you like what we've done with this classic tune!
