Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.953613 Composed by Adrienne Inglis (ASCAP). Contemporary. Octavo. 20 pages. Adrienne Inglis (ASCAP) #4643489. Published by Adrienne Inglis (ASCAP) (A0.953613). Program note: Scored for mixed chorus, bassoon, and piano, The Rage and Reconciliation of King Lear by Adrienne Inglis weaves passages from Shakespeare’s King Lear with signature phrases of the Rev. Dr. Milton H. Riemer. Dr. Riemer’s words bring insight and reflection to the poignant narrative of a parent-child relationship. Outside in a raging storm, King Lear angrily punishes himself for foolishly excluding his favorite daughter, Cordelia, from a portion of his kingdom. As mental illness takes hold, he suffers from curious confusion but understands his failings and begs Cordelia’s forgiveness. The Scottish air Etrick Banks provides melodic material that yields a royal fanfare, lament, thunderstorm, dementia, regret, and reconciliation. Crunchy chords and unsettling dissonances punctuate the sounds of modal chants and medieval polyphony.

Euphonium,Flugelhorn,Trombone,Tuba - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1158153 Composed by Dr. Daniel N. Thrower. 20th Century,Chamber,Christian,Classical,Religious. 25 pages. Https://gildedmusicpress.com/ #758458. Published by https://gildedmusicpress.com/ (A0.1158153). Originally set for SATB choir with brass accompaniment, the creative setting that was performed in 2000 was for four flugelhorns and euphonium without choir. Although it was effective, and the premiere was a success, Dr. Thrower revised the work for the established instrumentation of the brass quintet. Even in this publication, though, he strayed from this belief by calling for euphonium in place of the trombone, if available. If not, trombone is perfectly acceptable. The trumpeters should perform their parts on flugelhorns if possible.

Drum Set,Trumpet,Tuba,Viola - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1349551 Composed by serbian folk song. Arranged by Zoran Radanovic. Contest,Festival,Film/TV,Folk,Patriotic,Wedding. 9 pages. Zoran Radanovic #934310. Published by Zoran Radanovic (A0.1349551). This famous serbian folk song is for quartet (Bb trumpet, tuba, viola and drumset) with set of parts. The March on (or to) the Drina (Serbian Cyrillic: Марш на Дрину, romanized: MarÅ¡ na Drinu, pronounced [mârʃ na drÇËnu]) is a Serbian patriotic march which was composed to commemorate the Serbian victory in Battle of Cer during World War I and came to be seen as a symbol of Serbian resistance and victory in the World War I. Along with the other World War I song, Tamo daleko, it became a powerful symbol of Serbian culture and national identity and remains popular amongst Serbs in the Balkans and the diaspora.[1][2]Der Marsch auf die Drina (serbisch Марш на Дрину MarÅ¡ na Drinu) ist ein Lied aus Serbien, das im Ersten Weltkrieg entstand. Der Komponist war Stanislav BiniÄki (1872–1942). Geschichte Vom 16.

Small Ensemble Cello,Oboe,Viola,Violin - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.522289 Composed by Colin Kirkpatrick. Holiday,Patriotic,Wedding. Score and parts. 20 pages. Colin Kirkpatrick Publications #6619197. Published by Colin Kirkpatrick Publications (A0.522289). This is an entertaining single-movement quartet scored for oboe, violin, viola and cello. With a running time of just over two and a half minutes, this lively piece is sure to please performers and audiences alike. The work was first performed at a concert in Ben’s Theater Jomtien by the Salaya Quartet, a distinguished group of musicians who at the time were section leaders in the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra. The first performance of the original oboe version of this work was given by Cooper Wright (oboe); Inga Causa (violin); Dr Danny Keasler (viola) and Martin Szawelski (cello).  Although originally conceived as an encore piece, this lively work will enliven any concert program. It’s written in G major with two bright and rhythmic outer sections and a more reflective middle section that briefly gives the melody to the cello. The oboe part requires an experienced player but it is not especially challenging in terms of range. The cello part remains in the bass clef throughout. The work is also available scored for flute and string trio. The score has seven pages and the four instrumental parts have three pages each, with slightly enlarged print to facilitate performance. The score and parts are contained music in a single 20-page PDF file.     Dr Colin Kirkpatrick studied at London’s Royal College of Music and followed a career in music education. He was a High School Music Director for about fifteen years and later became a Music Education Adviser, with the added responsibility for training teachers and directing the instrumental teaching service.   He has published a great deal of music and his publishers include Boosey & Hawkes, Novello, Paxton, Schott, Oxford University Press, Chester and Belwin Mills. His music has been performed and broadcast all over Europe as well as in Japan, Thailand, Australia and the USA.
