It features a Lyricon solo by saxophonist Tom Scott, though Captain mimed to this part on a descant recorder in the promotional video. Do That to Me One More Time was a comeback for the duo, but they failed to achieve further success on Casablanca and their contract was not renewed. Vocalist and songwriter Toni Tennille played the song for Bogart at her house with husband Daryl Dragon in Pacific Palisades, California on an electric piano. What happened when I discovered and developed a hyperfixation on an emo Christmas song in the middle of May during the pandemic's lockdown in 2020? I made sheet music of it, of course. And listened to the song for hours. This is an instrumental version of Christmas Drag, originally written by Dallon Weekes when he was still part of the band called The Brobecks. The purpose of this sheet music is to serve as the background music for a voice who will then perform the singing part. This does not contain the solo melody of the song, however, I will be adding the melody on a separate file and make sure to keep my followers updated. There are multiple versions of this song, but the one which inspired me to make sheet music was the version by Dallon from 2019 when the duo idkHOW performed it.

As part of my major project to propose a periodical musical staff (to replace the traditional Western musical staff), I frequently use the G-clef 8vb (an octave inferiorly to the central octave) or the 15vb (2 octaves inferiorly to the central octave) for the (piano) left hand AND the G-clef 8va (an octave superiorly to the central octave) or the 15va (2 octaves superiorly to the central octave) for the (piano) right hand, mainly for the simplicity of reading, but also for a unified G-clef-based notation for any standard (Western) orchestral instrument.

American pop duo Captain & Tennille covered the song in 1975, with instrumental backing almost entirely by “Captain� Daryl Dragon. Neil Sedaka rerecorded a spoof of his song, renaming it Lunch Will Keep Us Together for his first children's CD Waking Up Is Hard to Do.

This is the tenth volume of an extensive collection of folk songs arranged for the classical guitar mostly in two-part counterpoint. The arrangements are of moderate difficulty and the aims of this publication are to familiarise, entertain and educate guitarists (and other musicians) with a melodic repertoire of lasting aesthetic value, under the light of contrapuntal treatment. The thirty five volumes of this collection can certainly be printed on paper if so desired and there are a few pages in each volume, either blank or with photographs of various musicians, which can be inserted at will in any place for the correct ordering of left and right hand pages so that page turns can be avoided. The principle of avoiding page turns has been maintained in all volumes, but this edition is also designed with mobile electronic devices in mind such as tablets etc, using the environment and facilities of a score reading application, towards a paperless world, at least in music. Therefore the size of the staves is bigger than usual for ease of reading on a small screen but not big enough to exceed the limit of a two-page view. Active internal links for navigating from thematic indexes to particular songs and back to indexes have been added, and also external internet links to sites that give further information for the 945 songs of this first collection for classical guitar.

Over the past couple of years I have written a number of film music transcriptions on and for the organ of the Royal Albert Hall in London. While the transcriptions are written with this organ in mind, often calling for specific colours such as the bass drum, carillons or tubular bells, they are adaptable on a number of different instruments and I’ve loved tweaking them in order to play them on organs all across the world. I hope you enjoy playing them as much as I’ve enjoyed writing them! 

One of the soundtracks that I get asked to perform most regularly is Test Drive by John Powell. This is one of the earlier transcriptions I wrote, and I often use it as a piece to illustrate the difference between different organs. It’s quite useful to have one piece to use as a comparison point, so I post little videos of this wherever I’m playing to demonstrate how radically different the same piece of music can sound depending on the kind of instrument. For me, this piece feels like an instant serotonin boost. There is a great crescendo where you get to take the organ from relatively quiet to earth-shatteringly loud over the course of about 30 seconds, and I always say that playing that part feels a bit like flying a dragon!
