The Bourrée in E Minor, from the Lute Suite in E minor, has suggested phrasing, fingerings, and bowings are for double bass.  The Aire on the G String is from the 3rd Orchestral Suite.  This does not have any edits beyond phrasing.  The student is encouraged to develop his/her own fingerings and bowings and discuss his/her reasons with the instructor.  The duration of the Aire is approximately 2:50 and the Bourrée is about 1:30. The student and the teacher should play both parts, perhaps, changing on the repeats.
