Score and part. 44 pages. Forsyth Brothers Ltd #998379. Published by Forsyth Brothers Ltd (A0.1416716). Four pieces for bassoon by well-respected British composers (ed. John Turner), commissioned to broaden the contemporary repertoire for the instrument. Includes three pieces with piano accompaniment, two for solo bassoon and one for bassoon trio. Cavatina by James Langley Circuit by Margaret Lucy Wilkins Revue by Geoffrey Poole Two Night-Pieces by Duncan Druce (I. bassoon solo and II. bassoon trio) Forsyth's Modern Wind Music series contains exciting and challenging, but not unduly difficult, works by talented English composers of current or recent vintage for recital, study or recreation. Each volume includes three works with piano, one unaccompanied piece, and one piece for two or more players of the instrument. This volume for Bassoon features Duncan Druce's two atmospheric Night-Pieces, for solo bassoon and a trio of bassoons respectively, works which are inspired by quotations from Thomas Campion and Shakespeare's Macbeth. Geoffrey Poole's colourful Revue offers a nice contrast with its witty references to the Offenbach Can-Can, while further light relief is present in Margaret Lucy Wikins' energetic and athletic Circuit. Another mood is conjured in the remaining piece, James Langley's gentle and haunting Cavatina.

As a performance note, lyrics (whether on screen or handed out) to song will need to be provided to congregation for them to sing along since lyrics aren't included. Very suited for a small to moderate size church service.

Arranged by Richard Goh. Pop,Wedding. 20 pages. RICOHJA #1091769. Published by RICOHJA (A0.1517608). Perfect was the first track Sheeran wrote for his third studio album. The song is a romantic ballad centered on traditional love and marriage, inspired by Sheeran's then-fiancée, Cherry Seaborn, whom he reconnected with after knowing her in school. Sheeran shared that the lyrics were influenced by a visit to James Blunt's house in Ibiza, where they listened to rapper Future's music early in the morning. He recalled: Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite song, which happened to be Future's 'March Madness'... I booked the studio for the day, started fleshing it out, and by the end of the day, the song was finished. I knew it was special. This arrangement is for an Intermediate-level Saxophone quartet, either SATB or AATB. It features a tenor saxophone solo in both the introduction and interlude. The full score and parts are included.
