This is inspired by and dedicated lovingly to the memory of my mother, Edith McCracken, born and raised in Kilmarnock, Scotland. Like this piece, she talked a lot and was both sweet and stormy - and if she had lived to hear it, I think she would’ve really enjoyed this piece.
