Hendrik Waelput (1845-1885) was a Belgian composer who was known as the Flemish Schubert.  This work, originally for four violas has been adapted for either 4 Bb clarinets or 3 Bb's and bass clarinet.  Performance time is roughly 2:40.  This work is suited for recitals, church services, and weddings.  It can be sightread by a group of experienced musicians, and is also appropriate for younger clarinetists.  The top 3 parts each have melodic material at various points so everyone can have fun!
