Pace (A0.701757). An original hymn with text by Krista Mason Pace below.YouTube video: https://youtu.be/rD0w6tdrvcAWe lived in pre-mortality as children of our God. As spirits with intelligence, His plan we did applaud. Rejoicing in our agency, we kept our first estate. Endowed with bodies on the earth, our lives to thus create.   A veil would shield our mind from view, the knowledge of before. The Light of Christ in every man as guide to learning more. A deep resolve to find the truth, the natural man to kill; Forsake the world through covenants; abide the Father’s will.   The soul’s true beauty manifest as flesh and spirit bind; Attuned to God’s divine design; One Heart and of one mind. As heirs to grand eternal wealth, progression without end; And for this hope I will not bend. His plan I will defend.

Guitar - Intermediate - Digital Download SKU: ZY.DO-1522 Composed by Francis Bebey. Arranged by Ingrid Riollot. Score. 5 pages. Les Editions Doberman-Yppan (digital) #DO 1522. Published by Les Editions Doberman-Yppan (digital) (ZY.DO-1522). Son originalité continue de résonner dans le monde entier depuis son décès à la fin du mois de mai 2001.Francis Bebey was born in Douala in July 1929, into a large family where his father, a pastor, struggled to feed his children. But Francis had the opportunity to go to school. Admiring his elder brother, Marcel Eyidi Bebey, he educated himself, distinguished himself, and eventually received a scholarship to go and take his baccalaureate in France. We approached the end of the 1950s when he arrived in La Rochelle. More than ever, in this France where Africans were looked at with curiosity, condescension, or disdain, Francis relied on his intellectual resources. A diligent worker, he obtained his Baccalaureate, then moved to Paris where he started English studies at the Sorbonne. One day, he knew what truly attracted him: he wanted to do radio. Francis learned his craft in France and in the USA.After working for a few years as a reporter, he was hired in 1961 as an international civil servant in the UNESCO Information Department. In parallel, Francis had always been drawn to musical creation. His very serious daytime activity didnâ??t prevent him from frequenting jazz clubs in the evenings. In Paris, the Jazz, the trendy music of that time, but also rumba and salsa attracted him. He collected records and attended numerous concerts. With his accomplice Manu Dibango, Francis took the stage and played music.Francis liked classical music since his childhood. He grew up listening to the cantatas and oratorios of Bach or Handel that his father had sung in the temple. He became passionate about the guitar, impressed by the Spanish and South American masters, and decided to learn to strum the instrument himself. He started composing guitar pieces, blending the various influences that flow through him with the traditional African music he had carried within since childhood. His approach captivated the director of the American Cultural Center (then located in the Saint-Germain neighborhood of Paris), who offered him the opportunity to perform in front of an audience. Francis gave his first guitar recital there (1963) in front of a mesmerized audience. His first solo album was released shortly thereafter.Gradually, Francis became recognized as a musician and composer. Several albums of the African guitar ambassador, as described by the press, were released. He also wrote books, to the point that his artistic career became challenging to reconcile with his career as a civil servant. In 1974, even though he had become the General Manager in charge of music at UNESCO, he took the bold leap and resigned from this prestigious institution to dedicated himself to the three activities that interested him: music, literature, and journalism. He explored the traditional musical heritage of the African continent, notably through the thumb piano sanza, and the polyphonic music of the Central African pygmies, or singing in his native language and composing humoristic songs in French!Success followed. Francis Bebey traveled the world: from France to Brazil, Cameroon to Sweden, Germany to the Carribean, or Morocco to Japan... the list of countries where he was invited to perform, gives lectures, or meets readers is very long. In addition to public recognition, he enjoyed the recognition of his fellow musicians, such as guitarist John Williams or Venezuelan Antonio Lauro, who invited him to be a part of the jury for a classical guitar competition in Caracas. His life was the journey of an African pioneer, a man rooted in his cultural heritage and carrying a message of sharing and hope for the world. His originality continues to vibrate around the world since his passing at the end of May 2001.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1173897 Composed by Kevin G. Pace (ASCAP), Kathryn W. Hales. Christian,Folk,Pop,Religious,Spiritual. Score. 6 pages. Kevin G. Pace #774051. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.1173897). A beautiful song about coming to the Savior with music by Kevin G. Pace and text by Kathryn W. Hales.Text:I went in the Gold Rush like many a man,To search for some nuggets or a flash in the pan.But few were the findings from a grand mother lode,I went for the Gold Rush, but I didn’t find gold.I found what was there, growing right from the ground,The flora and fauna, with trees that abound.I found the beauty of nature’s own place,I found the beauty shown by God’s grace.Like those in the Gold Rush, I’ve oft followed man,To search for the shiny, a flash in the pan,But the glamour soon ended when the glitzy wore thin,I went for the sparkly but found grace for my sins. The world cannot offer the true value of souls,For they are more precious than nuggets of gold.I found true wealth, not deep in a mine,But in the pierced hands of a Savior divine.I might lose my way, when guided by man,So, look to the heavens and follow God’s plan. The glitter of Fool’s Gold has many deceived__A glimmer of hope, then deep tears of grief.I’ll look for the riches only He can bestow,I’ll avoid that ol’ Gold Rush but seek for true gold.By seeking a life, eternal and pure,Seeking for Jesus, who gives gold that endures.

Bassoon - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1474103 Composed by James Smith. Classical,Contest,Festival,Instructional,Multicultural,Traditional,World. Educational Method. 44 pages. Ensemble Llama Music #1051737. Published by Ensemble Llama Music (A0.1474103). I’m a bassoonist, and I don’t like the teaching materials for bassoon that are out there. There’s not enough depth and engagement in them, and nothing that supports the everyday music teacher. So I set out to create something that I would feel comfortable giving to my private students to help them grow as musicians. There are many types of music in the book: etudes, exercises, warm-ups, backwards and upside down duets (one person plays normally, the other person reads the music in an unusual way), improvised music, and composition. Musical styles range across a variety of cultures and genres such as classical, blues, fiddle tunes, marches, contemporary, musicals, and more.  Using carefully crafted etudes, exercises, and songs in a variety of styles, your bassoon students are going to to find immediate success. The bite-sized examples encourage students to focus on tone, as they extend their technique and range on this wonderful instrument. Examples from the book:1.1 - Memories1.2 - Can-Can1.3 - Baby-Back Blues1.4 - Somewhere Nice1.5 - Go Down, Moses1.6 - Magenta Sky (A Backwards Duet)1.7 - Cakewalk1.8 - Red River Valley1.9 - Symphony No. 6, Mvt. 2 (Tchaikovsky)1.10 - Arkansas Traveler1.11 - Give My Regards to Broadway (key of B Flat Major)1.12 - In The Hall of the Mountain King1.13 - Landlord Fill The Flowing Bowl1.14 - It Ain't Gonna Rain No Mo'1.15 - Shalom Chaverim1.16 - Londonderry Air1.17 - Theme & Variations, Für Elise1.18 - Ominous (A Backwards Duet)Create & Improvise: St. Louis Blues (W.C. Composed by Hans Werner Henze. This edition: study score. Music Of Our Time. Downloadable, Study score. Duration 45 minutes. Schott Music - Digital #Q23931. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q23931). German • English. The earliest and now obsolete version of this piece (first performed in Heidelberg, 1949) was scored for actors and orchestra. This revised version of 1964 has recast the actors' parts into roles for singers. In addition, a scaled-down orchestration was made to suit performances in small theatres. The Magic Theatre is suitable as one part of a triptych, of which A Country Doctor forms the centre and The End of a World the third part. The Magic Theatre can still be performed with actors: for a production given at the Schiller Theatre in Berlin, on 30 September 1965 at the Berlin Festwochen, Henning Brauel made a version for a small ensemble designed to be performed in small theatres. This version ensures that the actors' voices are not drowned out by the instruments. - Hans Werner Henze1 (auch Picc.) · 1 (auch Engl. Hr.) · 1 (auch Bassklar.) · 1 – 1 · 1 · 1 · 0 – P. S.
