Small Ensemble Bass Guitar,Cello,Clarinet,English Horn,Violin - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.945641 By The Beatles. By John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Arranged by Nancy J. Brammer. Contemporary. Score and parts. 15 pages. Nancy Brammer #6057221. Published by Nancy Brammer (A0.945641). Yesterday is a song by the Beatles which was released in 1965.  A beautiful melody, it is arranged here for English Horn and Clarinet as soloists accompanied by Guitar, Bass Guitar, Violin and Cello. It can be performed successfully without the violin and cello. However, the bass guitar part is fairly important although I have sung it with just the guitar part. I have not added chords to the guitar part as it is important to play the notes that are written.

Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Trio English Horn,Flute,Oboe - Digital Download SKU: A0.1029157 Composed by Christopher Patton. Contemporary. 13 pages. Christopher Patton #4760387. Published by Christopher Patton (A0.1029157). Writing this duet for flute and oboe//English Horn began immediately after the massacre at the Pulse night club in Orlando, FL in June 2016. The fate which befell those innocent people was undeserving in spite of where they were and who they were. I expressed my anger and outrage in this music to honor the memory of those who died that night. The first movement is a bit off-kilter; there is something in the air. The second movement is evocative of having a nice evening and enjoying time with friends. As the the third movement begins, the music depicts something ominous coming which crescendos to the flute and oboe a second apart representing screams. My intent with the prior statement is not to relive the horrors of that evening. I wanted to respectfully represent what happened. I wanted the performers in addition to interpreting my music to have an active role in the composition in which the flute and oboe engage in an improvisation to represent the rampage and their outrage. The remainder of the final movement gradually slows as the flute and oboe notes are sustained and ascending to a quiet and peaceful end with the unspoken message nothing will keep us down. .

Bass Trombone,Cornet,Horn - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1327987 Composed by George Frideric Handel. Arranged by James M. Guthrie. Chamber,Christian,Christmas,Holiday,Traditional. 6 pages. Jmsgu3 #915996. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.1327987). Joy to the World is an English Christmas carol written by the English minister and hymnwriter Isaac Watts in 1719. Here are some interesting facts about the song:Originally a Poem: Joy to the World was originally a poem, not a song.Inspiration: Isaac Watts wrote the lyrics with Jesus's second coming in mind, not His first coming, inspired by the latter half of Psalm 98.Musical Origin: The melody for Joy to the World is attributed to George Frideric Handel and arranged by Lowell Mason. The first four notes of the song are the same as the chorus Lift your heads from Handel's Messiah. Not Intended as a Christmas Carol: The song wasn't intended to be a Christmas carol, as its original version had no such link with Christmas. It adapted Psalm 98, celebrating Jesus's role as King of his church and the world.Popularity: Since 1719, Joy to the World has remained one of the most-published hymns in Northern America and has been recorded by various artists.Joy to the World is a timeless piece of art that has withstood the test of time and continues to be enjoyed and appreciated by generations, making it a significant part of Christmas celebrations.

Unison/Two-part chorus - Digital Download SKU: C7.CGA1133 Composed by David Schwoebel. Christmas. Hymns of Faith. With Trumpet. Sacred Anthem. Octavo. 16 pages. Chorister's Guild - Digital #CGA1133. Published by Chorister's Guild - Digital (C7.CGA1133). UPC: 749193013205.Regal and majestic, this setting of the timeless carol is reminiscent of English boy choirs and cathedral congregations proclaiming together the joyous news of Christ's birth. Accompanied by an organ and trumpet fanfare, children's voices open the anthem singing the traditional Latin invitation, Venite adoremus Dominum. Congregations then have the option to join the children on stanza one singing either the Latin or English text. The piece incorporates fresh harmonies throughout and employs an especially delightful accompaniment pattern on stanza two before a climatic modulation propels the anthem to its final stanza, underscored by a powerful free accompaniment and soaring vocal descant. A hymn study related to this carol is available on the Choristers Guild website.
