SILENT NIGHT - 1/2/3 Bb TREBLE INSTRUMENTS with Piano Accompaniment

This is a flexible arrangement! Suitable for any combination of Clarinet, Trumpet, Soprano Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, and Baritone Treble Clef. Could be used for school, church or community.

It can be presented with 1, 2 or 3 instruments (or more!) and it is possible to play 1, 2 or all 3 verses.

The First part plays the melody all the way through and the part is identical on all 3 verses except for the key.

The Second part adds harmony to verses 2 and 3.

The Third part adds an obligato part on the Introduction and Verse 3. (this could be a teacher/adult/advanced student part if the other part(s) are played by students)

Parts for Flute (part 2) and Violin/Glockenspiel (part 1) have been added - just in case!

To contribute to the feel of a Silent Night, the piano part has been kept intentionally simple. Verse 3 can be played without the piano part, if desired, to add dramatic impact to the last verse. You can use any verse by itself, as each is a self-contained unit. If you want the melody alone, you can skip the Introduction to Verse 1 and start right on Measure 5 with the melody (you could even leave out the piano part!) There is an alternate Part 2 that is transposed up an octave for Tenor Saxophone or Clarinet. There is an alternate part 3 that is transposed down an octave. I wanted to provide you with the flexibility to match the parts to the players.

Danseuses de Delphes is a musical composition for piano by the French composer Claude Debussy. It is the piece that opens the first book of the Preludes, written between the end of 1909 and the beginning of 1910. The work is inspired by the “Dancers of Delphi�, a sculpture fragment from the temple of Apollo in Delphi, whose photo the musician had seen at the Louvre in Paris. The transcription was requested by the conductor of the UFRJ Wind Orchestra for the concert commemorating the 100th anniversary of the death of composer Claude Debussy.
