Guitar - Intermediate - Digital Download SKU: M0.93662EB Classical. Flute. E-book. Mel Bay Publications - Digital Sheet Music #93662EB. Published by Mel Bay Publications - Digital Sheet Music (M0.93662EB). ISBN 9781513455495. 8.75 x 11.75 inches. This book provides recorderists, flutists and guitarists interesting and entertaining music to play. Songs and instrumental pieces from the middle ages to the present have been chosen with regard to their educational and intrinsically musical value, and arranged with careful consideration to provide idiomatic parts for each instrument, while remaining faithful to the spirit of the original. Educators will find this book to be of value in their teaching. Ensemble playing is a pleasant and effective way to increase assurance of rhythm and pitch. The difficulty of these pieces range from lower to upper intermediate levels. Sometimes the recorder/flute part is easier than the guitar part, sometimes vice-versa. For the more advanced recorderist/flutist, variations in the proper style have been added to some pieces for further technical study, and as examples for improvisation.

Piano,Viola - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.549032 Arranged by James M. Guthrie, ASCAP. Holiday,Romantic Period,Sacred,Standards. Score and part. 9 pages. Jmsgu3 #3447483. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.549032). Schubert's Moment Musicaux is a collection of six short pieces for solo piano composed by Franz Schubert. They are among the most frequently played of Schubert's piano music and have been recorded many times. The Moments Musicaux are supreme examples of Schubert's ability to suggest the subtlest nuances of emotion, which shift and alter literally in a moment. The composition of the Moments was quite sporadic, with the third and sixth movements appearing in various collections of works compiled by publishers in 1823/24 and the complete collection appearing in 1828, the year of Schubert's death. The Moments Musicaux are short pieces, shorter than his Impromptus, and are collected under the opus number 94. They encompass various moods and moderate difficulty, showcasing Schubert's skill in touching different tonal areas within a single movement. Schubert's Moment Musicaux No. 3 is a significant and popular piece. It is described as energetic, playful, and lyrical. The Moments Musicaux are among Schubert's best-loved works, and No. 3 is known for its whimsical merriment.

Piano Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1248571 By Brian Golden. By Brian Golden. Arranged by Brian Golden. Classical,Contemporary. Score. 3 pages. Brian Golden #843062. Published by Brian Golden (A0.1248571). Prelude 13 in F# Major Ionian from 24 Preludes for the Piano in Major and Minor Modes by composer Brian Golden   The creative concept in writing these preludes is to provide a link to past preludes written for the keyboard, and in particular to the works of J.S. Bach and Frederic Chopin, whose works stand as essential repertoire for any student of the piano.  Using Bach’s and Chopin’s examples, my goal was to compose in all twenty-four keys, yet offer my own variation on the progression of key signatures – Bach’s being a pattern of major to parallel minor progressing chromatically through all keys, and Chopin’s a pattern of major to relative minor keys progressing clockwise through the circle of fifths.  In order to expand my harmonic and melodic possibilities, I have included the modal keys rather than only the major and harmonic minor keys, and have chosen to work counterclockwise through the circle of fifths, which is a more natural harmonic progression.  Therefore, all major preludes resolve from one to another V-I, as well as do all the minor preludes.    While there are seven modal scales, I decided to leave out the locrian modes for the following reasons.  First, due to the diminished fifth, the locrian mode cannot be thought of as either major nor minor.  Second, the locrian mode did not have a relative key to pair with, since there were no other keys with the identical characteristic notes.    In creating the key architecture, I determined that there was only one solution to pairing major and relative minor scales based on a shared parent key and characteristic note - ionian/aolian, mixolydian/phrygian and lydian/dorian.  This specific order of modal scales is the only order that would enable composing in all twelve key signatures.  Finally, the inspiration for each prelude came from playing through several other preludes in the same keys - mostly by Bach and Chopin - and letting their themes and styles influence me in the writing of my own.

Oboe (flute, clarinet, soprano saxophone) and piano - intermediate - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q7145 For Oboe (Flute, Clarinet, Sorano Saxophone) and Piano. Composed by Karel Husa. This edition: Sheet music. Downloadable. Duration 8 minutes. Schott Music - Digital #Q7145. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q7145). The '4 Bohemian Sketches' were originally composed as 8 Bohemian duos for piano duet (ED 4779). They are a mixture of 'real' and 'invented' folk music. With these pieces, Husa follows examples like Schumann, Hindemith and Bartok who also wrote music for young amateurs and those making music at home. They are music for playing in the best sense and can be used very early in instrumental lessons. Husa was born in Prague, studied with Arthur Honegger and Nadia Boulanger, among others, at the Paris Conservatoire and worked as a professor of music theory at the New York Cornell University in the USA for many years.

Quickly emulating the outstanding success of the descant tutors, these books are very popular even with those who normally use tutors other than the Enjoy the Recorder series.

Trombone Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1466014 By The Beatles. By John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Arranged by Leo Silva. Pop,Rock. Individual part. 2 pages. MP Sheet Music #1044617. Published by MP Sheet Music (A0.1466014). All My Loving is a Beatles song, composed by Paul McCartney (although it is credited to Lennon/McCartney) for the 1963 album With the Beatles. It was one of the few examples of compositions where McCartney wrote the lyrics before the music; the text was apparently conceived as a poem, composed while he was shaving.McCartney originally envisioned it as a country & western song, and it was written on piano during a rehearsal for the Beatles' tour with Roy Orbison; George Harrison added his Nashville-style guitar solo to the recording. Using the letter format in the song's lyrics, also used in P.S. I Love You.
