Concert Band - Digital Download SKU: AX.00-PC-0016780_H2 2nd F Horn. Composed by Erik Satie. Arranged by Jerry Brubaker. Masterwork Arrangement. Part. 1 pages. Alfred Music - Digital Sheet Music #00-PC-0016780_H2. Published by Alfred Music - Digital Sheet Music (AX.00-PC-0016780_H2). UPC: 038081504636.The GymnopA(c)dies, published in Paris starting in 1888, are three piano compositions written by French composer and pianist Erik Satie. The name referrers to an ancient Greek festival and dance. This piece has a haunting quality to its very familiar melody while its harmonies are atmospheric and ethereal. The setting would easily stand on its own but would also lend itself well to choreography for modern dance or ballet to enhance the performance and involve additional performers on stage at your concert. The flowing lines and beautiful textures make Festival Dance a must for your concert band repertoire. (3:00)Concert/Contest; Festival.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.862680 Composed by Sergei Rachmaninoff. Arranged by Michael Bomier. 20th Century,Concert,Easter,Romantic Period,Standards. Score. 6 pages. Michael Butkus-Bomier #3687659. Published by Michael Butkus-Bomier (A0.862680). Not nearly all of the Rachmaninoff preludes are intricate, difficult and advanced in their technical and interpretive demands. This quiet, flowing piece, with its undulating LH accompaniment, and simple two-note theme, moved through the various possibilities in the F# natural minor scale, is really his equivalent piece to Beethoven's Fur Elise. No kidding! So, examine how logical and composerly the surface complexities have been ordered, so as to make the piece a finely patterned and memoriz-able thing. Our tempo here is about the same as Richter, so one COULD go slower. Bring our the tune over the LH figures, and pedal for clarity. Only a few wide stretches have been truncated and/or arpeggiated for our convenience. MBB.
