String Quartet String Quartet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.778057 By Europe. By Joey Tempest. Arranged by Jen Mathers. Rock. Score and parts. 5 pages. Jen Mathers #5971233. Published by Jen Mathers (A0.778057). Arranged for String Quartet. This classic power ballad by Europe makes audiences and string players smile every time it is played.  This arrangement keeps things moving to a fun finish and avoids too much repetition (with ample rehearsal letters to allow cuts and repeats as needed). The driving cello part may be difficult for intermediate players, but can easily be simplified to straight eighth notes if necessary. My string arrangements are true to the original song, with minimal changes to pop melodies to facilitate playing and sightreading. Parts are error-free, tested and enjoyed by professional musicians at weddings and private events.

Organ - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.912504 Composed by Thomas R. Schadl. 20th Century,Concert,Contemporary,Instructional,Standards. Score. 17 pages. Thomas R. Schadl #5303799. Published by Thomas R. Schadl (A0.912504). The Finale from Sonata In C For Organ is suitable for recital use, and may be used for teaching students on techniques of incorporating thematic materials from other movements or other works to their compositions. This last movement opens with a slow and quiet registration, depicting an anticipation of some good event to come. One may associate this section (measure 1 to 51) with the expectation of Christ’s resurrection from the dead. The theme opens with a motivic variation of bugle theme that was stated in the first movement of the sonata. The exposition part of this work begins at measure 52, where the TRSCH motive repeats continuously in the pedal part against the main theme. Other thematic materials from previous movements occur in this movement. From measure 111 to 118, the first theme from the first movement appears against the main theme of this movement, and the former one is restated at bar 182 to 185. The second theme from the scherzo movement appears against the main theme of this movement at bar 120 to 123. The final section of the piece that commences from measure 195 to 211 contains the TRSCH motive, stated in the pedal part; the motive, originally written in quarter-note notation, is augmented rhythmically to whole note notation, giving one an impression of triumphant splendor. What brings the sonata to a triumphant close is that the TRSCH motive is stated three times, using the full organ registration.  I hope that you enjoy this work.

Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quartet Flute - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.854102 Composed by P. I. Tchaikovsky. Arranged by Diego Marani. Classical,Contest,Festival,Instructional,Romantic Period,Standards. 32 pages. Diego Marani #460664. Published by Diego Marani (A0.854102). Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings in C Major was written with an ear towards one of his idols, a certain 18th century composer by the name of Mozart. The title and structure of the piece are taken from the serenades of the latter, though this is certainly Tchaikovsky's own particularly 19th century rendering of these older ideas. That it is a masterful work, is demonstrated by the fact that it still remains among the most performed and appreciated by the public alongside the serenades by Antonín Dvořák and Josef Suk. The final movement begins with slow and subdued section, based on a Russian folk song, stands in stark contrast to the core of the movement, which is a very quick-paced and rollicking finale based on another Russian folk melody—this time a dance tune. This dance tune spins out and gives the orchestra a rather strenuous workout. It is almost as if the piece is continually building and building, seemingly getting faster, until Tchaikovsky channels the inventiveness and unpredictability of his beloved Mozart. This arrangement for flute quartet (Flute 1, Flute 2, Flute 3, Flute 4 or Alto Flute) reflects faithfully the original and is suitable for classroom, repertoire and recital.

Brass Ensemble - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.766947 Composed by Bob Delfausse. Concert,Contemporary,Standards. Score and parts. 38 pages. Robert Delfausse #2343373. Published by Robert Delfausse (A0.766947). This piece could be subtitled Homage to Haydn, as I found myself using many aspects of his musical language: clear phrasing and form, unexpected turns, ideas that develop into new ideas, sections of fugue, etc.  I call it a finale because it has the same energy as most of his symphonies' final movements.  It is suitable for advanced intermediate and professional quintets.  It would work well anywhere in a recital, but especially at the end.  Duration: 4 minutes, 39 seconds. .

Contemporary,Instructional,Romantic Period,Wedding. 15 pages. RayThompsonMusic #4968111. Published by RayThompsonMusic (A0.553841). The work was written for private performance by an ad hoc ensemble of two pianos and other instruments, and lasts around 25 minutes. This is the Finale Mvt.XIV arranged wind quintet. Many of the previous movements are quoted here from the introduction, the lion, the donkeys, hens, and kangaroos. The work ends with a series of six Hee Haws from the donkeys, as if to say that the donkey has the last laugh, before the final strong group of C major chords.
