Brass Ensemble Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.802629 Composed by Lawrence Welk and Traditional. Arranged by Peet du Toit. Contemporary. Score and parts. 8 pages. Peet du Toit #6050765. Published by Peet du Toit (A0.802629). There Is a Tavern in the Town is a traditional folk song, which first appeared in the 1883 edition of William H. Hill's Student Songs. The song was the college anthem of Trinity University College. It was famously performed by Rudy Vallée as The Drunkard Song, slightly changing the chorus. While recording the last verses of the song, Vallée started to laugh uncontrollably given the corny lyrics. He and his band recorded the song again without laughing, but Victor released both takes in 1934. He also performed the song in the film Sweet Music. Here's my interpretation for a brass quintet. Enjoy!

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1030883 Composed by Joel Yeap. 20th Century,Romantic Period,Sacred. Octavo. 11 pages. Joel Yeap #38453. Published by Joel Yeap (A0.1030883). O magnum mysterium, originally written for Raffles Chorale and was premiered by just over 20 singers on 19th December 2014. This is the revised edition for sale in SheetMusicPlus. O magnum mysterium begins with an almost chant-like, dark atmosphere with the basses singing below the drones of the choir. The sopranos slowly emerge and the choir bursts into lush harmonies and long undulating melody lines. O magnum mysterium ends with the sopranos proclaiming Alleluia and the rest of the choir echoing. Finally, the basses return with the melody heard right from the beginning, allowing the piece to culminate peacefully and calmly. The duration of O magnum mysterium is approximately 3'40'' long. It is recommended that a sizeable choir of approximately 40 or more singers is needed to perform this work, however, it is adequate to perform this with any other choir size. (For a gauge, the sample recording given was sung by approximately 20 singers at one of the first few readings of this work) Do contact me for any further enquiries at yeapyej@hotmail.com.

Piano - intermediate to difficult - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q53312 Tarantella Napoletana. Composed by Franz Liszt. Edited by Robert Schafer and Wilhelm Ohmen. This edition: Sheet music. (c) 2020 Schott Music GmbH & Co. KG, Mainz. Classical. Downloadable. 11 pages. Schott Music - Digital #Q53312. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q53312). Franz Liszt’s first publications with Schott in 1838 were his piano transcriptions of the song cycle ‘Soirées musicales’ by Gioacchino Rossini. The ninth of these, ‘La Danza. Tarantella Napoletana’ (plate numbers 4967-9) is still very popular with virtuosos today. Later, in 1855, 1858 and 1883, amongst other works, Liszt’s three volumes ‘Années de pèlerinage’ (‘Years of Pilgrimage’), probably his most important collection of character pieces for piano, were also published by Schott.

Choral Alto Voice,Bass Voice,Soprano voice,Tenor Voice (SATB) - Level 5 - Interactive Download SKU: A0.726326 Composed by Barron Brothers. This edition: Interactive Download. Folk,World. Octavo. 25 pages. Duration 281. Barron Brothers #6JvK5OaFLfcELYSz4fsbms. Published by Barron Brothers (A0.726326). Key: Ab major.**NJMEA Finalist Composition** Sun Tracks The track of the Sun across the sky leaves its shining, eternal message Illuminating, strengthening, warming... all of us who are here It shows us we are not alone. We are not alone. We are yet alive. And this fire, our fire shall not die! *- Atoni* Iyo he, iyo he; iyo he, iyo he; He, he, he, iyo he. - *Choctaw war dance* ...... Tribute to the Trail of Tears is an original SATB choir song commemorating my Choctaw heritage. When I wrote this song, I wanted to look at the Trail of Tears from the Choctaws' eyes. I did this by emphasizing the contrast between their anger with the shouting taken from a Choctaw war chant and hope with a Choctaw Sun Prayer (the sun is an important figure of hope in Choctaw spirituality), their English traditions forced upon them and their true Choctaw nature, and the betrayal of a government that was supposed to protect them. This song is designed to be slow and relaxed (~70bpm for the first part and ~85bpm for the piu mosso), with the bends representing relaxed glissandos in the voice. The last three chords are meant to be sensitive and should be taken very slowly. Keep in mind that this piece should not only be meaningful but convey the emotions to spread the Native awareness that is so direly needed in America.

Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.928135 Composed by Johannes Brahms. Arranged by P. F. Strohm. Chamber,Classical,Contest,Festival,Romantic Period. 68 pages. Pete Strohm Music #5041117. Published by Pete Strohm Music (A0.928135). Variations on a Theme of Josef Haydn is one of Brahms' most popular works, expertly arranged here for Brass Quintet by American composer P. F. Strohm. Brahms wrote this piece (Op. 56) in the summer of 1873, first for two pianos then as an orchestral work. It is well-known for its unique five-measure phrasing of the chorale, which is used throughout the piece. Brahms kept this basic structure while developing the material in each variation, creating ten related-but-separate musical gems. This works out well for brass players, as individual variations range from just under a minute to just over three minutes for the finale. The piece is a joy to perform. The variations can be combined at will to fit performer skills for recitals, concerts and contests. Played in its entirety, Variations on a Theme of Josef Haydn is a striking concert showpiece with a typical performance time of 17:50. This third edition of the arrangement has uses a new font, clarifies some accidentals, and improves the part layouts. Difficulty level for the piece varies between Medium and Medium-Advanced. Member, ASCAP.

Instrumental Solo,Piano and Keyboard - Interactive Download SKU: A0.482485 Composed by J. Randolph Hall. This edition: Interactive Download. World. Individual part. 2 pages. Duration 96. Published by J. Randolph Hall (A0.482485). This is a ragtime piece that makes fun of the infamous Westboro Baptist Church slogan, God hates F**s. The introduction (section A) starts off with the congregation's own short song, God hates f**s. This is followed by the verse (section B) and refrain (section C) of the classic hymn, Faith is the Victory which WBC hijacked. The key changes and we go into Dies Irae or Day of Wrath (section D) as Phelps would talk about Hell as if he had )been born and raised there. Finally , the original key returns with the first song (section E). PLEASE READ & UNDERSTAND: I in NO form or fashion support nor condone most of Westboro Baptist Church's appalling behavior. THIS IS A SATIRE.

Piano - Digital Download SKU: BQ.979-0-50179-172-9 Composed by Franz Liszt. Edited by Gabor Orth. This edition: softcover. Bisel Classics. Score. With Text Language: English / German. Opus S.234. 24 pages. Published by Bisel Classics - Digital (BQ.979-0-50179-172-9). ISBN 9790501791729.Dedicated to the singer Karl Strakatky (1803-1863) who sang at the Stavovske divadlo in Prague from 1825, the 'Hussitenlied' was Liszt's tribute to the Czech people composed especially for his first concert tour of Prague in 1840. Believing it to be derived from a fifteenth century choral in praise of the great Czech Protestant reformer Jan Hus, it had been conceived as a drinking song less than twenty years earlier but had quickly been elevated by anonymity and established in common lore as a patriotic hymn of Bohemian national pride.
