Ukulele - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1203819 Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Chris Webster. Folk. Score (Chords/Lyrics). 5 pages. Chris Webster #802384. Published by Chris Webster (A0.1203819). The Folk Uke series offers a musical construction kit for traditional folk songs. Each song begins with the vocal part set for medium voice with chords for ukulele. This is followed by a fingerstyle accompaniment and a ukulele solo with introduction and coda. These different parts can be assembled in different ways, for example, very simply, with voice and strummed chords, or more elaborately: intro, verse 1 with chords, verse 2 with fingerstyle accompaniment followed by the solo, verse 3, etc., or as a duet, with uke 1 playing the melody and uke 2 playing chords or fingerstyle accompaniment. The traditional ballad, Geordie, tells a tragic tale set to a plaintive Aeolian mode melody. The vocal part is in two sections: for solo voice and in two-part harmony (the latter should be sung a cappella). This arrangement is for voice(s) and ukulele with re-entrant GCEA tuning. The audio sample is the Intro, Solo, Variations and Coda.

Ocarina - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1497191 Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Thomas Preece. Folk. Score. 47 pages. Preece Music #1073612. Published by Preece Music (A0.1497191). This book is a companion to the arranger's previous volume of British and Irish Folk Songs, and contains a further 27 songs from a broad cross-section of British and Irish folk traditions, all arranged for ocarina. The eclectic selection of tunes covers a wide range of styles and subjects, including several songs in the minority languages of the British Isles. The one common factor in this collection is that they all fit within the range of the ocarina. This book is suitable for all pendant, transverse or inline ocarinas that can play a full scale. Ocarinas with 4 holes can play at least twelve of these songs; ocarinas with 6 or 10 holes can play most of them; and ocarinas with 11 or 12 holes can play all of the arrangements. The tunes can also be played on almost any other treble-clef instrument, and are presented with lyrics and chord symbols for accompaniment on guitar or ukulele.

Vocal Solo,Voice - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.719663 Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Curtis Hanson. Folk. 46 pages. Curtis Hanson #1791771. Published by Curtis Hanson (A0.719663). The eleven folk songs in this collection are all from the British Isles or American tradition. They were selected and arranged for my personal voice students, many of whom are beginning singers. This edition is for singers with medium-high voices. Upper ranges approach the top of the treble clef but do not go above the staff. The common thread for all the songs is to provide interesting arrangements for singers of a variety of skill levels with accompaniments that usually are very supportive of young or less experienced voices. All are available separately or in choral settings in a variety of voicings. The songs in this edition are: Down in the Valley (American), All the Pretty Little Horses (American), All Through the Night (Welsh), Annie Laurie (Scottish), The Ash Grove (Welsh), The Colorado Trail (American), Barb’ra Allen (English), The Crystal Spring (English), Drink to Me Only with Thine Eyes (English), Greensleeves (English), and Johnny Has Gone for a Soldier (Irish/American). Volume 2 contains an additional eleven folk songs. Each volume is also available for medium-low voices.
