Pausing, I sat down to play one more time before I departed. At that point, I did not know how many months or years it would be until I had the blessing of playing the piano again. Feeling the smooth keys, I started to play this melody. As I added in the arpeggiating left hand, this piece became the bittersweet goodbye at that point in my life.
