♫ This was the first arrangement that I wrote for Katie, my daughter and our first performance in public together. I wrote it for her Christmas public school band concert. She was in her second year of band instruction. Later, I embellished the flute part as her flute skills continued to improve. At 11 years old she demonstrated good technique and tone, and would eventually graduate from university majoring in flute performance.Â
