This saxophone quintet with bass (electric is preferred, but upright could work) and drums opens with a funky hook figure and settles into a swinging, harmonized treatment of the melody. Chord changes are provided for the tenor sax soloist, who is accompanied by background figures performed by the other saxes. A challenging, Supersax-style soli takes place over the chord progression. A fun and lighthearted straight eighth waltz treatment of the melody gives way to swing and, finally, a return to the funky, swinging shuffle.
