I was asked to write a piece that would celebrate the possibility of moving towards a better future, inspired by the desire and need to join together as a community in Jacksonville, Florida. Often when we look around and wonder how young people can grow into responsible, caring people in the face of so much adversity, music, and hope become more essential than we can all imagine.
