String Quartet Cello,String Quartet,Viola,Violin - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.928727 By Geordie Ridley. By Geordie Ridley. Arranged by Matthew Spinner. Folk,Traditional. Score and parts. 20 pages. Matthew Spinner #6590475. Published by Matthew Spinner (A0.928727). This is a string quartet arrangement of Geordie Ridley's famous song from Tyneside in the north-east of England. The humorous folk song is about an eventful bus trip from Balmbra's Music Hall in the English city of Newcastle to the horse racing in nearby Blaydon, situated on the Gateshead side of the River Tyne. With the rain pouring down throughout the journey, the bus loses a wheel and various injuries are sustained, some requiring hospital attention. When they finally get there, one of the horses has been stolen. More recently, the song has been adopted by supporters of the local football team, Newcastle United. The download includes the score and a full set of parts. It has a duration of 3 minutes.

Published by THEMIS KOUTRAS (A0.1066542). This song is you got to know the holy bible well to understand this so i will explain the dove in Christianity represents the holy spirit it is also how they believed in the old days to communicate with people like a post office of doves doves where known as pigeons in those days if you know your history the 1st post office was done using pigeons they put a message on it;s foot and let it go it will always return home so they will have a whole post office like that transporting pigeons to places they will then let them go with a message on there feet thus it would fly home so when JESUS CHRIST was baptize it writes the holy spirit came upon him in the form of a dove as GOD SPOKE OUT OF HEAVEN saying this is my beloved son listen to him thus everyone herd that so they only new how to explain it that the communication came to JESUS CHRIST communicating with GOD as they all herd it they told this expressing it how they understood it as the holy spirit came upon JESUS CHRIST as a dove thus what i am singing is very much that at the same time i am communicating with GOD just as the song says OK that is its meaning that i am communicating with GOD as sung

Cello,Flute,Viola,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.984258 Composed by Karen E McAulay. Celtic,Contemporary,Folk. 7 pages. Dr Karen E McAulay #3675615. Published by Dr Karen E McAulay (A0.984258). Over 200 years ago, Scottish musician Joshua Campbell wrote a fiddle tune called The Beautifull Town of Glasgow (yes, he meant beautiful, but that's how he spelled it!) in the Georgian era.  I have arranged it here for two flutes, violin, viola and cello.  It goes at quite a lick - after all, it's a dance - and the strings can go wild with their pizzicato!  A few zany trills for the flutes, which they share with the violin at one point, and some off-beat work for everyone. Enjoy!
