Baritone Horn TC,Vocal Solo,Voice - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1492593 Composed by Thomas Moore. Arranged by Alex Nunes Rodrigues. Folk. 2 pages. Alex Rodrigues #1069271. Published by Alex Rodrigues (A0.1492593). The Last Rose of Summer is a work deeply rooted in Irish culture, originally penned as a poem by the renowned poet and composer Thomas Moore in 1805. Moore, regarded as Ireland’s national poet, was inspired by an 'Old Blush' rose while staying at Jenkinstown Castle in County Kilkenny, Ireland. The poem was published as part of his Irish Melodies collection between 1807 and 1834, and later set to music by fellow Irishman John Stevenson. The song gained widespread popularity and was incorporated into the opera Martha by the German composer Friedrich von Flotow, which premiered in 1847 in Vienna. This sheet music has been adapted for voice and piano, preserving the original melody true to the composition by Moore and Stevenson. The piano arrangement has been simplified to provide an accessible experience for music teachers who, even without extensive piano skills, wish to accompany their students. This arrangement maintains the melodic and emotional essence of the piece, offering a version that honors its traditional nuances while making it approachable for beginner to intermediate musicians. The Last Rose of Summer captures the essence of melancholy and the passage of time—universal themes reflected in the farewell to the last vestige of a vibrant summer. The melody, paired with Moore’s poetry, evokes a profound sense of loss and longing, with the solitary rose serving as a metaphor for the fleeting nature of life and the seasons. The simplicity and beauty of this piece have made it a classic, both in literature and music, perpetuating Irish tradition and touching the hearts of listeners worldwide.

String Quartet String Quartet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.809075 Composed by Johann Friedrich Fasch. Arranged by Kim Diehnelt. Baroque,Concert,Holiday,Wedding. Score and parts. 30 pages. Kim Diehnelt #6560423. Published by Kim Diehnelt (A0.809075). Johann Friedrich Fasch (1688 – 1758) was a contemporary of J.S. Bach and Georg F. Handel and considered one of the top German composers during his time. This work has four movements (Vivace-Grave-Fuge-Presto). It was originally for strings and basso continuo; the music is well-crafted and has both a flavor of restraint and seriousness, as well as humor and joy. The Fuge movement is especially enjoyable. It is a refreshing addition to the repertoire for string quartet ensembles who perform at ceremonies, receptions, and other social events. Performance time is about 10 minutes with repeats. The final Presto can be played as a trio (violin, viola, cello). Mvt. 1 - Vivace Mvt. 2 – Grave (2:10 in MIDI recording) iMvt. 3 – Fuge (3:50 on MIDI recording) Mvt. 4 – Presto (6:46 in MIDI recording) This arrangement for string quartet was made at the request of the Hildegard String Quartet in Vermont. As professional musicians who perform for weddings and special occasions, they require high-quality arrangements that capture the full sound, color, and texture of the original work. The layout of the printed parts is designed to limited page turns and provide an ease of reading.

Piano Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.917503 Composed by D. E. Mathers. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score. 5 pages. D. Eugene Mathers #4890615. Published by D. Eugene Mathers (A0.917503). This piano waltz inaugurates a series of dance portraits commemorating the Southern Academy of Ballet Arts (S.A.B.A.) in Tallahassee, Florida, and its performing company, Pas de Vie. It was originally composed in December 1995 as a portrait of the extraordinary dancer, teacher, and choreographer Gwynne Ashton (d. 1998), the dedicatee, and was presented to her as a Christmas present in an abbreviated form. The French words of its title mean on the beach and allude to one of Emile Waldteufel's most delightful waltzes (Sur la plage, op. 234; 1883), which endures as a beloved ballet with Ashton's choreography. Similarly pensive, elegiac and retrospective, the new piano work uses original thematic material throughout and lasts approximately two-and-a-half minutes.

Classical,Contest,Festival,Film/TV,Romantic Period,Wedding. 19 pages. Grant Horsley #848652. Published by Grant Horsley (A0.1255058). The name Nocturne (meaning of the night) was originally an ensemble piece in the 18th century in several movements used for for evening parties. Later In the 19thc it's one movement form, it was adopted by John Field and later popularised by Chopin. It generally has a tranquil lyrical melody and is very romantic and expressive. I have tried to keep these elements in this Nocturne. Written here for Flute and Clarinet Duet with Piano, the parts are equally divided. Highest note top G flute (once). It is written in the key of concert C minor it has a very gentle opening with harmonies evolving around a cycle of 5th's in places. The piece has three definite sections- the lyrical melody to begin with, a middle section building to a climax before a return to the 1st section. This is followed by a transitional contrasting section (poco piu mosso) wandering through a few keys to settle on an inner pedal tonic note chime. Gentle chords restore the opening once more- this opening theme climaxes towards the end and a gentle reflection of the opening bars concludes the piece.  It is 4 mins 20 in length and the Price is for the full score and parts.I have set it to intermediate level, but the youtube link has the full score for you to assess suitability.Versions for Flute Duet, Violin Duet and Solo Piano are also available.
