The two sections are all in bass clef, plus technique, range and endurance are kept to a moderate level.Prelude is a beautiful lyrical chorale marked religioso that weaves its way through various tonal centers, but returns home to C major. Fughetta as it sounds is contrapuntal in nature flipping itself around after first being stated by each performer.Altogether the work is a delightful addition to the repertoire for lesser experienced players.
