The piece was composed for the Sounds and Voices II project of the Municipality of Krefeld with the support of the Nordrhein Westphalia state ministry of education. It consists of two parts. In the first part, two themes of Ludwig von Beethoven and Hammâmizâde Ismail Dede Efendi, which describe German and Turkish culture, are used. In the second part, religion, which reveals two different cultures, and the call symbols used by religion are melodiously abstracted. While a weave belonging to Johann Sebastian Bach is used in the piano party, the violins canonically announce a melody unique to Turkish music. In the notation, each part is loaded separately.
