A lively piece (very unsolemn) where the four voice parts have been effectively arranged for three violins and viola. The short introduction is followed by a light-hearted fugue where all the parts are of equal importance. This arrangement is very suitable for small or large groups. Copying of individual string parts for sole use by the purchaser is permitted.  A version, for four violins, also by Ian Butterworth, is also available.
