SSAA choir and piano (SSAA) - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.774783 By The Manhattan Transfer. By Michel Paul Fugain and Wayne Shanklin. Arranged by Sandra Milliken. Octavo. 7 pages. Sandra Milliken #6656857. Published by Sandra Milliken (A0.774783). Chanson d'Amour (sometimes referred to as The Ra-Da-Da-Da-Da Song) is a popular piece written by the American singer, songwriter and producer, Wayne Shanklin. In 1958 Shanklin had suggested the song to a California lounge circuit duo Art and Dotty Todd. They liked the song and produced a demo recording, which was later released as a single by Era Records. Then, almost 20 years later, in 1976, the vocal jazz quartet The Manhattan Transfer came across a demo on cassette and decided to record a remake of Chanson d'Amour for their Coming Out album. The track featured Janis Siegel singing lead with an Edith Piaf sound.Whilst overlooked in the United States in its single release, Manhattan Transfer's version became a hit across Europe in Germany, the Netherlands, France, Norway and Switzerland. In the English-speaking world it was a chart topper in the UK and Ireland as well as in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. The song had become Manhattan Transfer's most widespread international success. This arrangement is available in six choral versions – SA, SSA, SSAA, SSATB with piano and SSAA, SSATB a cappella

Instrumental Duet Flute,Guitar,Instrumental Duet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.797852 Composed by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Arranged by Derek Hasted. Classical,Romantic Period. Score and parts. 10 pages. Derek Hasted #6712491. Published by Derek Hasted (A0.797852). CHANSON TRISTE - FLUTE and GUITAR DUETFor Classical or Acoustic Guitar - sometimes it's erroneously listed here as Electric Guitar.Derek Hasted writes This charming piano piece fits really nicely onto flute and guitar making a concert item that is accessible to intermediate players. It’s rather fun too!The lovely chord sequences and the need for controlled articulation make this a delightful piece for any intermediate duo.I have added a few dynamics (but feel free to change them if you wish), and some suggested fingerings for the guitar part. I’ve pitched the music (pardon the pun) in the original piano key - G minor - but I’ve set the guitar part Capo 3, which makes gives the guitarist some really comfortable and familiar shapes based around E minor, and makes the bass notes particularly rounded and satisfying.I hope you enjoy this piece! This is one of a large and growing range of accessible ensembles from experienced arranger Derek Hasted, and is supplied as full score and parts. Check out Derek's other arrangements - search SheetMusicPlus for Derek Hasted and you'll see the full list, all with soundclips and sample score. Derek's website at www.derek-hasted.co.uk/smp has all the arrangements grouped by number of instruments.
