This simple, beginner-friendly arrangement of “When I Survey The Wondrous Cross� is a great way to focus on good hand position without worrying about too many notes and rhythms! The lyrics of this hymn are so touching and worshipful, and people will be so blessed to hear you play it. The melody is so beautiful that hearing it on its own is more than enough to enjoy listening to.

Difficulty Level and Skills Required: Early-Beginner. This piece uses only fingers 1-2. The right and left hand share the melody, never playing at the same time.

Type of Harp: For big and small harps, 22-strings (C-C) or larger.

Range: The lowest note is G above middle C. The highest note is G, one and a half octaves above middle C.

Levers/Pedals: In the key of C major. There are no lever changes in this piece.
