Instrumental Duet Celtic Harp,Instrumental Duet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.803762 Composed by Turlough O’Carolan. Arranged by Serena O’Meara. Baroque,Celtic,Folk,Holiday,Irish,Traditional. Score and parts. 5 pages. O'Meara Music #4626575. Published by O'Meara Music (A0.803762). This beautiful slow air was composed in honor of Lady Mary Nugget (1694-1725). She was the daughter of Thomas, the Fourth Earl of Westmeath. When she married Francis Bermingham, the Twenty-first Baron of Athenry – she became Lady Athenry. Donal Sullivan lists Lady Athenry as a patron of Turlough O’Carolan. I imagine Lady Athenry as a dainty, energetic, colorful and interesting woman. Her household was a place Turlough enjoyed visiting.

Instrumental Duet,Lever Harp - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.803937 Composed by Enrico Toselli. Arranged by Serena O’Meara. 20th Century,Classical,Film/TV,Multicultural,Wedding,World. 4 pages. O'Meara Music #5730677. Published by O'Meara Music (A0.803937). There is disagreement as to exactly when the Italian pianist, Count of Montignoso, Enrico Toselli composed his famous melody. Perhaps it was composed when he was 17 years old (1900) or perhaps it was composed in 1907 when he eloped with Archduchess Louise of Austria. Internationally, there are many titles and lyrics associated with this melody. Besides the o the names Regret, Come Back, Toselli’s Serenade, Nightingale Serenade, and Dreams and Memories. The sweet melody is still being recorded today.

Instrumental Duet,Lever Harp - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.803887 Composed by John Francis Wade. Arranged by Serena O’Meara. Christmas,Holiday,Renaissance,Sacred,Traditional. 4 pages. O'Meara Music #5325999. Published by O'Meara Music (A0.803887). There is confusion as to who is the exact composer of this melody. Perhaps it was an anonymous Cistercian Monk, or King John IV of Portugal (1604-1656), or John Reading (1645-1692) or John Francis Wade (1711-1786). The first published version of it was in 1751 by John Francis Wade, a Scottish scholar of plainchant so he is often given credit as its composer. This arrangement has three verses of increasing difficulty; each using harmonics in the quiet sections. The dynamics are clearly marked. The melody is divided evenly between parts. The easier Trio version can be played along with this duet version to give 5 parts.

Instrumental Duet,Lever Harp - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.803852 Composed by Traditional Christmas Carol. Arranged by Serena O’Meara. Christmas,Holiday,Multicultural,Standards,Traditional,World. 6 pages. O'Meara Music #5026271. Published by O'Meara Music (A0.803852). This sweet, well known Christmas melody was originally a Finnish springtime song, dating to the 13th Century. It was published in 1582 in a book of seventy-four songs. After receiving a copy of that book as a gift, John Mason Neale set his lyrics celebrating the famous Bohemian (907-935) to this melody. In 1854, the book Carols for Easter-tide was published, including Good King Wenceslas as a Springtime song. This arrangement has 5 verses in the key of G. It represents Good King Wenceslas and his Page trudging through (eighth notes) the harsh winter weather on December 26 as they leave their warm castle to help the poor. Occasionally there is a pause as they catch their breath or look through the swirling snow at how far they have traveled. The fourth verse represents the Page walking in King Wenceslas’s footsteps. The melody is divided evenly between parts. Dynamics are clearly marked.
