Jingle Bossa Bells for Percussion Ensemble is everyone’s favorite Jingle Bells set to a Bossa Nova beat. The sound of claves, maracas and cowbell provide that Latin flavor to the song. The mallet percussion instruments provide the melody and accompaniment with a bit of syncopation to really set the mood. Great for a Christmas or Holiday Concert for a percussion ensemble or as a percussion feature at any band concert. There are 4 mallet percussion parts that require xylophone, vibraphone and a 4 octave or higher marimba – two marimba parts can be played in the same instrument. The marimba 2 part is written in bass clef and an optional treble clef version is also included. Auxiliary percussion instruments fill out the ensemble, including a timpani part for 2 standard size drums. For smaller ensembles, the timpani, cowbell and suspended cymbal parts can be omitted if desired.
