Aase’s death is an elegy depicting the death of Peer Gynt’s mother dying alone on a mountain. It is simple and powerful.  Ed Hayes and Frank Harmantas have score this work for 5-part Trombone Ensemble. This 4-minute work is playable by moderately advanced performers except the top part which goes up to a couple high d’s and need some endurance.
