String Quartet String Quartet - Digital Download SKU: A0.529234 Composed by John Henry, James Murray. Arranged by Lorento Golofeev. Christmas. Score and parts. 20 pages. Lorento Golofeev #4985953. Published by Lorento Golofeev (A0.529234). The first carol in the medley is We Three Kings of Orient Are, written by John Henry Hopkins Jr. in 1857. It is followed by Away In a Manger. There are 2 music settings for the text; the one used in the medley is by James Murray (1887). The last piece, Go Tell It on the Mountain, is an African-American spiritual, and is considered a Christmas carol because of the lyrics celebrating the birth of Jesus. The song was compiled by John Wesley Work Jr. around 1865. The medley is designed to be played as one piece with transitions between the carols. However, I also introduced alternate endings so every carol can be played as a stand alone piece if desired. The running time of this medley is around 5 min 20 sec. All of my arrangements include bowings, dynamics and precise articulation for easier sight-reading. Many more arrangements, both pop and classical, are available for purchase. Soprano voice and piano - Moderately Difficult - Digital Download SKU: MQ.8371-2E Composed by Henry Mollicone. 39 pages. E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital #8371-2E. Published by E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital (MQ.8371-2E). These songs were composed for a benefit event held by DAY WORKERS OF MOUNTAIN VIEW, a strong organization that serves immigrants in Northern California. Having visited their offices, I was very impressed with the range of programs they provide for immigrants and the personal commitment of their director, Maria Marroquin. Maria interviewed four women and transcribed their true stories into poems which I have set to music. The stories have a common thread that suggests the difficult and painful experiences of immigration in our society. It is our hope that the stories of these brave women help to raise the awareness of this important issue. -Henry Mollicone.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1183338 By Marion Harris. By Music by Turner Layton, lyrics by Henry Creamer. Arranged by Dave Gingras and John E. Dosher. Blues,Broadway,Jazz,Musical/Show. Score. 2 pages. DAVID LEE GINGRAS #783001. Published by DAVID LEE GINGRAS (A0.1183338). After You've Gone is a 1918 popular song composed by Turner Layton with lyrics by Henry Creamer. It was recorded by Marion Harris on July 22, 1918, and released by Victor Records. The chorus adheres to a standard ABAC pattern but is only 20 measures long. There are four 4-bar phrases, followed by a 4 measure tag. The song is harmonically active, with chord changes almost every measure. This version features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements. We also added some pretty cool left-hand fills for your listening (playing?) pleasure - we hope you like what we've done to make this arrangement unique!
