It has no resemblance to the tune everyone is familiar with but I believe it brings this timeless text alive in a new and fresh way.  It's written in G major with a modulation to A (before returning back to G) with a range of 11 notes (D-high G). I think the intervals are easy to sing once the singer hears the harmony underneath.
