Those were golden years as together we sought fresh expressions of worship. Every Advent season he would come up with a relatively obscure Advent hymn text and then use each stanza as the outline for that Sunday's sermon. And each Sunday we would start on stanza one and sing through the stanza of the day. Often he would write a new tune for the text; such is the case with Let the Earth Now Praise the Lord.
