Small Ensemble Guitar,Low Voice,Medium Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.576706 Composed by Franz Schubert. Arranged by David Warin Solomons. Classical,Romantic Period. Score and parts. 5 pages. David Warin Solomons #90245. Published by David Warin Solomons (A0.576706). Schubert's setting of words from Goethe's Wilhelm Meister (with my singing translation in English) transposed to the key of E minor for low voice and guitar. In some places the guitar part is simplified in comparison to the original piano part in order to improve the flowing quality and to make it possible for one person to accompany herself/himself on the guitar. A version for low voice and piano also in E minor, is also available The sound sample is an electronic preview. The three individual songs (Wer sich der Einsamkeit ergibt, Wer nie sein Brot mit Tränen ass, An die Türen) and also all three together (under the title Gesänge des Harfners (songs of the harpist) ) are available on this site The pdf file contains the score and also the separate parts. I will creep up to the doors and stand there quiet and polite goodly hands will give me food and grateful I will leave their sight Every person will seem happy When they see me at their door They will shed a tear which I will never know the reason for. (English translation (c) 2015 David Warin Solomons) If you would like a downloadable mp3 of the guitar accompaniment, you can use this reference in the search box on sheetmusicplus: S0.707285

The power ballad was written by Diane Warren. The song received its airplay premiere on May 12, 1998, and was officially added to radio a week later. I Don't Want to Miss a Thing, in the United States, was originally supposed to be a radio-only single from Armageddon: The Album, but due to popular demand, Columbia Records issued the song commercially in August 1998. It subsequently debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, giving the band their first and only number-one single in their home country, remaining at the top for four weeks. The song was nominated for an Oscar as Best Original Song at the 71st Academy Awards of 1998, but lost to When You Believe from The Prince of Egypt.Subscribe to my YouTube Channel to stay updated on new releases.

Piano Trio,String Ensemble - Digital Download SKU: A0.1004148 Composed by Matthew Scott Phillips. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score and parts. 16 pages. Matthew Scott Phillips #3510879. Published by Matthew Scott Phillips (A0.1004148). Throughout the centuries, sundials (a flat plate that marks the time of the day by the shadow of a gnomon which is cast onto it) have been used by civilizations to tell time. Unlike modern clocks and digital watches, in which every single second has its own momentary significance, telling time by sundial is more evolutionary. The seconds, and hours, melt into one another. It is perhaps for this reason that sundials have often been conceived not only as practical time pieces, but as works of art, metaphors, and creations that are inherent expressions of the personality of their creators. Etched in many sundials across the world, in Latin, English, German, and other languages are often found mottoes that reflect the thoughts of the sundial's creator. These mottoes can be fatalistic, humorous, transient, morbid, or serene, and almost always involve the subjects of time, the passing of the hours, life and its brevity, or metaphors involving shadows. Many times these mottoes feature some witticism, such as I only count the sunny hours (since a shadow must be present for a sundial to function). Other times, they can be revealingly existential (We are but shadow), and other times offer advice (Use the hours, don't count them). It is these statements of philosophy, etched in sundials throughout the centuries, that most interests me. I am currently composing a set of movements for piano trio (Piano, Violin, Cello) dedicated to the mottoes found on sundials, and their significance to me. The first movement, subtitled Tempus Edax Rerum (Time devours things) is expansive and attempts a feeling of eternity, into which all seemingly fast moving workings of human beings are inevitably subsumed. For the second movement I am considering the phrase Pereunt et Imputantur (They pass and are counted referring to the hours of the day), and its implication of the way in which time can slip away, whether we observe it or not.

3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 octaves handbells - Level 3+ - Digital Download SKU: C7.CGB979 Psalm 23. Composed by Alex Guebert. Arranged by Alex Guebert. General, Estertide. With Flute. Score. 12 pages. Chorister's Guild - Digital #CGB979. Published by Chorister's Guild - Digital (C7.CGB979). UPC: 749193024553.Uplifting and sweet, this arrangement of The Lord’s My Shepherd, I’ll Not Want (BROTHER JAMES’ AIR) makes use of stirring crescendos and orchestral-sounding sweeping musical lines.  The quiet waters of the Psalm 23 text are reflected in the shimmering, peaceful first verse.  The second verse gains momentum (My soul He doth restore again) and the powerful crescendo into the third verse brings a confident sense of peace (Yea, though I walk in death’s dark vale / yet will I fear no ill).  At the final cadence, ethereal, unusual harmonies give way to a serene resolution, symbolizing heaven as a final resting place, calling to mind the last lines of the text: and in God’s house forevermore / my dwelling place shall be.  The optional flute part sweetens the lovely soft sections and adds flourish and weight to the majestic third verse and coda.
