Double Bass,Drum Set - Level 3 - Interactive Download SKU: A0.1297026 By Joe Henderson. By Horace Silver. Arranged by Horace Silver. This edition: Interactive Download. Jazz. 37 pages. Duration 355. George Kaplan #C5SAErxqDpwnfFE1mI7uF. Published by George Kaplan (A0.1297026). Key: Db major. This is a note-for-note transcription of the October 31, 1963 trio recording of Horace Silver’s tune Que Pasa. It is notated for piano, bass and drums, although the bass is a three-note figure that hardly ever varies. For his improvisations, Horace employed a call-and-response pattern between his two hands, with little overlap. This means that the solo pianist can play the string bass part with her left hand while handling both piano staves with her right. Horace observed, “We never used this trio version but I really like this earlier version. I approached it differently in that I didn’t always resolve it when I was improvising. It’s different and I like it.†See bar 67 for an example of his reluctance to resolve. To create Que Pasa, Horace took the first line of Gershwin's Nice Work If You Can Get It (“Holding hands at midnightâ€) and put a samba bassline underneath. It is written in the theoretical key of Db minor, together with the non-diatonic chords G13 and F13. The tune stayed in his bandbook for the next three years and has become something of a mini-standard over the years.

String Orchestra - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1383453 Composed by Graham Boag. 21st Century,Classical,New Age. 329 pages. Graham Boag #967895. Published by Graham Boag (A0.1383453). When I started writing this piece, I didn’t have a title in mind but as it developed, I began to think that it sounded like a mixture of different bird song in one place. The only thing I was sure about was, I wanted it to be minimalist in style with ideas morphing into each other and letting that process shape the music.   “The Menagerie†is written for String Orchestra and is around 8’ 25†in duration. From the initial one note pedal tone, the piece evolves providing melodic and rhythmic nuances which create the music and direction.

Solo Guitar - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1264075 By The Police. By Sting. Arranged by Pablo Alcázar. Pop,Rock,Singer/Songwriter. Individual part. 3 pages. Pablo Alcázar #856983. Published by Pablo Alcázar (A0.1264075). This arrangement of Every Breath you Take (for solo guitar) fits perfectly for Classical (spanish) and acoustic guitars because every chord sounds fully along with the melody and the bass gives a unique feeling of the rhythm. It's made for solo guitar and it's appropiate for begginers that look for a challenge or intermediate guitarist that want something fresh and new to play. Also is a very good arrangement for professional players that need repertoire for wedding events.Every Breath You Take is a song by the English rock band the Police from their album Synchronicity (1983). Written by Sting, the single was the biggest US and Canadian hit of 1983, topping the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for eight weeks (the band's only No. 1 hit on that chart), and the Canadian RPM Chart for four weeks. Their fifth UK No. 1, it topped the UK Singles Chart for four weeks. The song also reached the Top 10 in numerous other countries.Sting wrote the song in 1982 in the aftermath of his separation from Frances Tomelty and the beginning of his relationship with Trudie Styler. Their split was controversial. As The Independent reported in 2006, The problem was, he was already married – to actress Frances Tomelty, who just happened to be Trudie's best friend. Sting and Frances lived next door to Trudie in Bayswater, West London, for several years before the two of them became lovers. The affair was widely condemned. To escape the public eye, Sting retreated to the Caribbean. He started writing the song at Ian Fleming's writing desk on the Goldeneye estate in Oracabessa, Jamaica. The lyrics are the words of a possessive lover who is watching every breath you take; every move you make. Sting recalled:I woke up in the middle of the night with that line in my head, sat down at the piano and had written it in half an hour. The tune itself is generic, an aggregate of hundreds of others, but the words are interesting. It sounds like a comforting love song. I didn't realise at the time how sinister it is. I think I was thinking of Big Brother, surveillance and control..

Instrumental Duet Guitar,Instrumental Duet,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.928260 By The Police. By Sting. Arranged by Simon James. Pop,Rock. Score and parts. 13 pages. DML #6011217. Published by DML (A0.928260). These arrangements are for performance and are very precise. Every Breath You Take is a song by the English rock band the Police from their album Synchronicity (1983). Written by Sting, the single was the biggest US and UK hit of 1983. Sting wrote the song in 1982 - I woke up in the middle of the night with that line in my head, sat down at the piano and had written it in half an hour. It sounds like a comforting love song. I didn't realise at the time how sinister it is. I think I was thinking of Big Brother, surveillance and control. This famous song by the Police had its original guitar part played on a palm muted electric guitar but it works really well fingerpicked on an acoustic. There is a full explanation of the song's history and notes on how to play it included with the score, also separate parts for voice and guitar.

Woodwind Ensemble - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.996127 Composed by Modest Petrovich Mussorgsky. Arranged by Erik Cole. Romantic Period. 22 pages. Erik Cole #4793079. Published by Erik Cole (A0.996127). This is a transcription of the complete Pictures at an Exhibition for double reed choir. It is all in the original keys and based on the well-known Ravel orchestration, which is quite difficult. As a result, this arrangement is even more challenging. It is designed with at least 2 players per part in mind, and all of the oboe and bassoon parts are divisi throughout. The attached MP3 recordings are multi-track recordings of me playing all the parts. This was, by far, the most daunting recording I have put together for any of my arrangements, and I apologize for any minor imperfections in timing or pitch. In many places, this really stretched the limits of what I am capable of on bassoon. This is easily the most technically challenging of the movements, though I didn’t wind up having to add much more in difficulty over what Ravel already wrote in his orchestration.

Mixed Percussion B-Flat Tuba,B-Flat trombone,Baritone Horn TC/Euphonium,Bass Trombone,E-Flat Cornet,E-Flat Tenor Horn,E-Flat Tuba TC,Flugelhorn,Percussion 1,Percussion 2,Tenor Trombone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1106335 Composed by Colin G Dance. 20th Century,Classical,Contemporary. Brass Band. 69 pages. Dance is With Music #709454. Published by Dance is With Music (A0.1106335). This is my composition entitled 'The Jewel of Chaos'. I've changed the image I've used too as I didn't realise the original one had 'super heroes' in it! It incorporates a tune called 'The Somerset Wassail' which it opens with, but it is played around with later in the piece. I'm very pleased with - it's a major piece of work, and think it will make a great concert piece for brass bands of intermediate standard.

Brass Ensemble - Digital Download SKU: A0.999421 Composed by Erik Satie. Arranged by Eric Wilson. 20th Century. Score and parts. 13 pages. Woodrow Edition #5798355. Published by Woodrow Edition (A0.999421). This sweet little march – more of a cakewalk really – was originally written for piano by the famously eccentric French composer Erik Satie but it suits the brass quintet very well. I made this arrangement as long ago as 1987 when I didn’t know much about the composer. Many years later I visited his former home, now a museum, in the Normandy port of Honfleur. It’s well worth a visit and gives a valuable insight into this fascinating composer. The piece makes a delightful short interlude or encore and I’ve tried to share the interest around the players, although the tuba is not exactly pushed to its limits!

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.828256 Composed by George C. Stebbins. Arranged by Paul Thurmond. Christian,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Score. 2 pages. Paul Thurmond #4969073. Published by Paul Thurmond (A0.828256). Tune: CALLING TODAYUse: Prelude, Offertory, CommunionWhen I wrote Jesus Is Tenderly Calling, I wasn’t paying attention to how spread out my right hand fingers were. I just played what sounded good. If you try it for yourself, you’ll find that during the chorus, the right hand is usually playing four notes at once, and stretching up to a tenth. I didn’t set out to make hard to play, and it certainly doesn’t sound hard. If you’re struggling, just roll the chords and use lots of pedal. Good luck!

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1113306 Composed by Colin G Dance. Christian,Religious. Octavo. 12 pages. Dance is With Music #715245. Published by Dance is With Music (A0.1113306). This is the original choral version of this work – with piano accompaniment. I think it’s a very effective work, but sadly the Musical Director of the choir for whom it was written thought ‘the parts were too high’ and it was never performed. She may have been right about the alto part, but it was the way she said it after I presented her with 40 copies for her choir. Guess what? I didn’t write another thing for them, and no, I’m not telling you which choir it was, but they are from Exmouth in Devon and they were formed in 1997.

Saxophone Ensemble,Woodwind Ensemble Alto Saxophone,Baritone Saxophone,Bass Saxophone,Soprano Saxophone,Tenor Saxophone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1167912 By Kevin MacLeod. By Kevin MacLeod. Arranged by Lisa Ochoco. Comedy,Contemporary. 31 pages. Lisa L Ochoco #768268. Published by Lisa L Ochoco (A0.1167912). If you’ve ever seen a funny video on YouTube, Facebook, Tik Tok, etc., chances are that you’ve heard this tune before…many many times.  It makes cute and funny videos, well, cuter and funnier.Kevin Macleod wrote this cute and funny tune, and it’s written to loop until the video ends.  The longer the video, the higher it goes (I think, although having a cute video last more than 5 minutes may wear you out.)  While I could have modulated it 5 times, I didn’t.  There is one key change, and after that key change, this cute and funny tune goes Radio City Rockette-ish before definitely coming to an end at the 2 minute mark.Scored for saxophone choir – 2 sopranos, 2 altos, 2 tenors, and baritone.  There is an optional bass that doubles the baritone. This would be a great recital opener, closer, or filler.  Or, you could have a few members of your group act out a cute and funny scene to it.  The possibilities are endless!Duration: 2 minutes.
