The Bishop's Dance: a curious and comical piece in 11 time (3, 3, 3, 2). It comes from the legend of Robin Hood, in which Robin meets the bishop of Hereford, who had hoped to get the better of him, but Robin prevails and forces him to dance. The clumsy attempts of the ungainly Bishop to obey Robin's commands cause great merriment among the merry men To quote our vicar, Rev Barbara, after the recital For me music paints a picture, and, for that, I have got this picture of someone going for a stroll in their village and then they came across a very old cat wandering down the street imaging it could catch birds but never catching them. And then it would lie down for a sleep and dream of the days when it was a kitten.... It was a very reflective programme and turns our mind about What for the Autumn, what do we need to do next.. it really did fit in with the mood of the year, as we turn towards building up the programme for next year... So thank you, it gave us time to reflect in a very beautiful manner.... Composed for the Earl of Abingdon London during the 1760s, this trio was written for a pair of flutes and cello or viola da gamba. Abel would have played the gamba part. It was the first of four trios which were afterwards published and sold by John Preston at his music Warehouse. This would have been an additional source of income for Abel. When the trios were played at the musical gatherings of John Preston's customers the parts would be played on whatever instruments were available, the flute parts on oboes, violins or even clarinets which were then pitched in C. A bassoon might be substituted for the cello . With versatility in mind I have included alternative parts: for clarinet in Bb in lieu of flute 2; clarinet in Bb or Bass clarinet in lieu of cello. All parts are well within the abilities of players of about grade 6 ABRSM.

The track was written by Glenn Frey and Don Henley and appeared on the 1973 album Desperado. Although it was never released as a single, it became one of Eagles' best-known songs. It ranked No. 494 on Rolling Stone's 2004 list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.. According to Henley, Desperado was based on a song he started in 1968, written in the style of old songs by Stephen Foster. In 1972, after they had recorded their first album Eagles in London, Glenn Frey and Henley decided that they should write songs together, and within a day or two after returning from London, they wrote Desperado. They also wrote Tequila Sunrise in the first week of their collaboration.

Dallon Weekes originally wrote the song about his wife who is bisexual. However, Brendon Urie later changed the meaning. This song brings back a lot of memories.

Although the MP3 Clip has Musical instrument Strings not written in the sheet music, the basic Rhythm of Train through the portal-is in the Sheet Music and I encourage others to experiment with the song, to add strings as you see fit.
