2 Pianos,4 Hands,Piano Duet - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.565178 By Sharon Wilson. By African-American Spiritual. Arranged by Sharon Wilson Music. Children,Folk,Jazz,Sacred,Spiritual. Score. 12 pages. Sharon Wilson #3519273. Published by Sharon Wilson (A0.565178). This arrangement of the traditional spiritual When the Saints Go Marching In is presented here as a mixed level duet for two pianos, four hands. The PIANO 1 is the easier part (early-intermediate) and the PIANO 2 is slightly more challenging, though still only at the intermediate level. Both PIANO parts carry the melody at times beginning with PIANO 1 for the verse. Quick-paced and bright, this dual piano duet is an ideal selection for a church setting. The purchase price includes a 5-page score with combined PIANO 1 and PIANO 2 parts on each page (the grand staff) plus an alternate format with the PIANO 1 and PIANO 2 parts on separate pages (3 pages each). Duration is just under 1-1/2 minutes. This arrangement is one of the 5 spirituals in the collection Five Joyful Tunes for Two Pianos. This song has numerous verses and varying lyrics, most of which reference the joy of marching into heaven at Jesus' second coming. Bible verses from which the lyrics were gleaned include the following: . . .Yahweh's ransomed ones will return, and come with singing to Zion; and everlasting joy will be on their heads. They will obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. Isaiah 35:10 WEBFor the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with God's trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 WEBBlessed are those who do his commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city. Revelation 22:14 WEBLyrics for my favorite 3 verses:O when the saints go marching in,O when the saints go marching in,O Lord I want to be in that number,When the saints go marching in.O when the trumpet sounds its call,O when the trumpet sounds its call,O Lord I want to be in that number,When the trumpet sounds its call.O when they crown him Lord of all,O when they crown him Lord of all,O Lord I want to be in that numberWhen they crown him Lord of all.

Full Orchestra - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1081578 Composed by Heinrich Ignaz Franz von Biber. Arranged by Joshua Choe. Baroque,Classical,Sacred. Score and parts. 57 pages. JMJ Arrangements #685700. Published by JMJ Arrangements (A0.1081578). In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. And he came to her and said, 'Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you!' But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and considered in her mind what sort of greeting this might be. And the angel said to her, 'Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there will be no end.' And Mary said to the angel, 'How can this be, since I have no husband?' And the angel said to her, 'The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God. And behold, your kinswoman Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son; and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. For with God nothing will be impossible.' And Mary said, 'Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.' And the angel departed from her. (Luke 1:26-38 RSV-CE).

Guitar,Instrumental Duet,Tenor Saxophone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1277982 By Dire Straits. By Mark Knopfler. Arranged by Derek Hasted. Film/TV,Pop. 16 pages. Derek Hasted #869685. Published by Derek Hasted (A0.1277982). LOCAL HERO - WILD THEME - TENOR SAX and GUITAR DUETSuits Classical, Acoustic or Electric GuitarDerek Hasted writes Rightly described as an astonishingly beautiful piece, this music from the film Local Hero actually features twice on the soundtrack album, in different keys with different solo instruments. My arrangement for Tenor Sax and Classical Guitar exploits the sustain of the sax and the soft tones of nylon strings and works well at a slightly more modest pace compared to the original. I’ve taken the theme from the closing soundtrack version, where the melody is clear and powerful. My arrangement includes one or two little bits of Mark Knopfler’s quasi-improvised variations on the tune. Note that the guitar part is played with a Capo on the first fret so that both players can enjoy an accessible key signature. The guitar part goes up the neck, and the position numbers are relative to the Capo (ie one fret higher than if there was no Capo fitted). There are two arrangements here - one in the husky low register of the sax, to suit a less experienced player, and one an octave higher that has a few challenging notes at the top, but sings out in a gloriously powerful way. The sound clip on the SheetMusicPlus website has a little of both arrangements. There are no dynamics, but the changing texture of the accompaniment creates the illusion of dynamic changes and you are welcome to add phrasing and dynamics to make the performance “yoursâ€.The guitar part is a little challenging at speed but this will suit confident intermediate players. This enjoyable concert item has a wonderfully captivating melody that the audience will be humming all the way home...I hope you enjoy playing this piece! This is one of a large and growing range of accessible ensembles from experienced arranger Derek Hasted, and is supplied as full score and parts. Derek's website at www.derek-hasted.co.uk/smp lists all his arrangements by title and by number of instruments, with links to soundclips and sample score.

Acoustic Guitar,Instrumental Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1156205 Composed by Traditional/Anonymous. Arranged by Socrates Arvanitakis. Classical,Early Music,Folk,Traditional. Individual part. 43 pages. Socrates Arvanitakis #756519. Published by Socrates Arvanitakis (A0.1156205). This is the seventeenth volume of an extensive collection of folk songs arranged for the classical guitar mostly in two-part counterpoint. The arrangements are of moderate difficulty and the aims of this publication are to familiarise, entertain and educate guitarists (and other musicians) with a melodic repertoire of lasting aesthetic value, under the light of contrapuntal treatment. The thirty five volumes of this collection can certainly be printed on paper if so desired and there are a few pages in each volume, either blank or with photographs of various musicians, which can be inserted at will in any place for the correct ordering of left and right hand pages so that page turns can be avoided. The principle of avoiding page turns has been maintained in all volumes, but this edition is also designed with mobile electronic devices in mind such as tablets etc, using the environment and facilities of a score reading application, towards a paperless world, at least in music. Therefore the size of the staves is bigger than usual for ease of reading on a small screen but not big enough to exceed the limit of a two-page view. Active internal links for navigating from thematic indexes to particular songs and back to indexes have been added, and also external internet links to sites that give further information for the 945 songs of this first collection for classical guitar.Folk Songs For Classical Guitar - Volume 17 (Songs 433-459)I Love My LoveI must live all aloneI saw a maidenI will Give my Love an AppleI will give you the keys of Heaven (Cheshire)I wish I was Single AgainI wish I wish 1 (My True Love Once He courted Me 1)I wish I wish 2 (My True Love Once He courted Me 2)I wish I wish 3 (My True Love Once He courted Me 3)I wish I wish 4 (My True Love Once He courted Me 4)I Wonder as I WanderI’ll Build Myself A Gallant ShipI’ll Mount the Air on Swallow’s Wings [The Loyal Lover]I’ll Tell You of a FellowI’m a Man that’s done wrong to my ParentsI’m A’ Doon For Lack of JohnnieI’se the B’y That Builds the BoatI’ve Set My Face For Zion’s KingdomIn a British Man O’ WarIn Bethlehem CityIn Good King Arthur’s Time (King Arthur’s Servants)In My Father’s GardenIn Nightly StillnessIron Horse (THE)Isle of DreamsIt’s of a farmer all in the town.

Concert Band - Digital Download SKU: A0.733009 Composed by Benjamin Ayotte. Contemporary. Score and parts. 30 pages. Ayotte Custom Musical Engravings #2075851. Published by Ayotte Custom Musical Engravings (A0.733009). A promise to stand by... this phrase indicate loyalty, steadfastness, being a man of one's word, knowing that integrity and honor are the enduring qualities by which we will be judged; not fame, fortune, influence, or other worldly measures. It is no surprise, therefore, that this phrase was incorporated by Lou Fortunate and Msgr Herman Kucyk, of blessed memory, into the alma mater of Divine Child High School. When I was approached by Mr. Bush and the Divine Child Band Boosters about the possibility of writing a piece to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the band program I was excited, flattered, and--most of all--humbled that I should be chosen out of many worthier candidates, in my estimation. Divine Child has had, for the longest time--since the beginning, it seems--a vibrant and thriving fine arts program involving music (both vocal and instrumental), theatre, and the visual arts as well as literature and poetry. I began to conceive of a work that would pay homage to each of these arts musically and be a celebration of all that Divine Child has to offer. One of my favourite composers, Gustav Mahler, famously said, a symphony must be like the world; it must contain everything. In the 1988 vice-presidential debate, Lloyd Bentsen famously said to Dan Quayle, Senator, you're no Jack Kennedy. A voice in my head said, Benjamin, you're no Gus Mahler. As the discarded drafts in the recycle bin took on a life of their own, I eventually dismissed the idea as impractical, and even vainglorious. I settled upon a more general idea to make the music about the band program. Most every student in the band program goes through the rigors of marching band and performs at the Falcon football games where they become intimate with the Three School Songs: the Falcon Fanfare, the Fight Song, and the Alma Mater. Taking the latter piece as my inspiration, I meditated upon the mission of the school: a promise to educate us in body, mind, and spirit. Divine Child High School stands by her promise, recruiting some of the best teachers in the area to guide us through the tumultuous adolescent years. We students, too, have a promise: to strive to be worthy of this gift, and to accept it and use it for the betterment of society. In band class, under Leo Tallieu, I learned to listen; to contribute to the group; to consider my part in relation to the whole ensemble; to show leadership when needed; and to be a role player when needed. And so, my conception of the piece changed. I wanted to use melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic devices that would be familiar to all DCHS band students, but to use them in a new and different way; to recontextualize them. As time went on, Bob Bush asked me if I would be able to work in a tribute to two band students who had tragically died in the last few years: Blaise H.

Guitar,Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1040259 By 4 TOWN. By Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell. Arranged by Barry McCormick. Film/TV,Pop. Score. 9 pages. B. McCormick #645038. Published by B. McCormick (A0.1040259). About this Piano/Vocal/Guitar arrangement of “Nobody like You†Disney's smash hit animation Turning Red was a massive success early in 2022. The sound track was brought to us by none other than Finneas O'connell, Billie Eilish. This arrangement of the main song on the soundtrack, Nobody like U, is for piano, voice and guitar. The key is in Am With this arrangement you will get the piano and vocal part, 7 pages, and the voice part with chords/lyrics separately acting as a lead sheet which is useful for all types of performers who do not necessarily need the whole piano part. This keeps paper usage at minimum and means the whole song can be laid out side by side without the need for page turns. The piano arrangement is very easy, mainly a heavily repeated chordal rhythmic motif. The most difficult part is in the left hand for the change in the bass line. There is also a large section of the song that is purely percussive in the backing. In one instance this is simply marked indicating when the piano drops and the accompanist could clap/beat box in this section if desired or if playing with a drummer just let them have the spot light. The song also finishes with only percussive backing, for this final section to give an idea of this I've changed the rhythm to a simple staccato beat on 2 and 4 so that if this was performed with only a pianist and singer there was some appropriate melodic backing that seemed percussive through the use of the staccato. The vocal part is close to the audio however I have omitted most of the vocal runs that happen between sections. These can be included in the performance should the singer decide to. I have only included the opening vocal run passage. In some areas I have simplified the melody, retaining the rough melodic shape but simplifying the rhythm. These can be sung as written or adjusted to the performers taste. I hope you enjoy this arrangement of Nobody Like U for piano, vocal and guitar and I hope it serves as a versatile arrangement for many purposes. Published by Nicholas White Music (A0.1256872). A challenging, unaccompanied, pastoral setting of Thomas Hardy's poem, scored for SATB divisi featuring a high soprano!Regret not me;     Beneath the sunny treeI lie uncaring slumbering peacefully.       Swift as the light     I flew my faery flight;Ecstatically I moved, and feared no night.       I did not know     That heydays fade and go,But deemed that what was would be always so.       I skipped at morn     Between the yellowing corn,Thinking it good and glorious to be born.       I ran at eves     Among the piled-up sheaves,Dreaming, 'I grieve not, therefore nothing grieves.'       Now soon will come     The apple, pear, and plumAnd hinds will sing, and autumn insects hum.       Again you will fare     To cider-makings rare,And junketings; but I shall not be there.       Yet gaily sing     Until the pewter ringThose songs we sang when we went gipsying.       And lightly dance     Some triple-timed romanceIn coupled figures, and forget mischance;       And mourn not me     Beneath the yellowing tree; For I shall mind not, slumbering peacefully.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.926664 Composed by Michael A. Morizio. A Cappella,Christian,Sacred. Octavo. 8 pages. M.A. Morizio #3588427. Published by M.A. Morizio (A0.926664). The Apostle John’s visions in Revelation are nothing less than astounding to all readers. However, little is it known that another Hymn to Christ is neatly tucked into the very first seven verses of this last book of the Bible. John begins his Revelation (verses 1-3) with a prelude, introducing Jesus Christ and the apocalypse (revelation) that was made to him via the angel sent to describe all the things about which he was to write. He says, Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and keep what is written in it, for the time is near. After this short prelude, John delivers an epistolary opening (a greeting identifying the author and recipients), then pronounces a blessing upon the recipients-verses 4-6. After both the prelude and the opening, John immediately proceeds to another known Hymn to Christ, in verse 7, which I have called, Behold He Is Coming.  When presented with the text in Revelation 1:7, I immediately thought, Where is the Gospel, the good news, in this piece? After several minutes of meditating on the text, I realized the Gospel message was right there in front of me-in the very last line: Yes, so be it [Lord], so be it, [Amen!] There will be peace! All will be known. Every single person will understand, at that point. The end, is the ushering in of a new beginning. The piece is scored in G minor for SATB with flute and Bâ™ clarinet accompaniment. In the opening phrase, we hear the clarinet on a sustained high (concert) G, which crescendos into a quick, descending sixteenth note pattern. There is urgency! The flute joins the clarinet in a duet to complete the introduction to the anthem. Then, the choir begins their haunting chant, Behold, He is coming with the clouds. Every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him. Every eye will see Him and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him . Alas, there is peace! The two instruments dissolve into an a cappella four-part chorale where the choir creates the agreement between the text and the music, modulating to the relative major (Bâ™)-all is reconciled in a final Amen!

Published by Bathysphere Music (A0.1160853). Three Piano Pieces for Shira is a gift for my friends Matthew and Sarah's daughter, Whitney. I was thinking about how much I’d love to teach her about music someday and got into listening to piano pieces written for young musicians that, though easier to play, don’t compromise artistically. The Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach, Schubert’s and Tchaikovsky’s Albums for the Young, and Stravinsky’s Les cinq doigts (a personal favorite) were inspirations for my work here.Though these three pieces are a probably a little tough for a two year old, and I have no idea if she’ll ever take up piano, I do hope that other young musicians will be able to get something out of them. They may be a good way to introduce advanced students to some of the techniques commonly used in modern music, such as mixed or phasing meters and spatial notation. In any case I hope that Whitney enjoys listening. I enjoyed writing them.

Published by Phil Beaman (A0.1373417). I originally wrote Total Eclipse as an expressive Art Song for solo voice and piano.  I used several lines of poetry from Newburgh Hamilton (1741) and set them to unique music that is a fusion of Classical, Romantic, and Modern, with a touch of Pop.  The music expressively drifts from major to minor to modal every few measures, inspired by the themes of darkness and light.  When I adapted it for SATB I filled out the already rich harmony and added ethereal 'oo's under some of the melody.  In a few brief measures, at different places, SAB each will have a divisi line where it splits to 2 parts.  (The texture is never thicker than 5 parts at once.)  This approachable piece of music is a good introduction for singers to the interpretation of an Art Song and is a dramatic performance piece for concert.  And perfect for the upcoming April 8 total eclipse!(Haydn also used variations of this text to create several Recitatives and an Aria for his oratorio Samson.)  10 pages, 2:00 minutesVocal Ranges:  all 1 octave; Sop - middle C to C; Alto - low G to G; Tenor - D to C; Bass - G to Gattached recording is of the original solo voice version which SATB is closely based on.  Be the first choir to record this and send me a link which I will post.  plbeaman@gmail.comalso available on this site as a vocal solo in several keys, and as a Unison Choral hymn
