Concert Band - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1023994 Composed by Kyle Wernke. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score and parts. 425 pages. Kyle Wernke Publishing #2120113. Published by Kyle Wernke Publishing (A0.1023994). Formations, is a celebration of the cosmos; a celebration of the tiniest of particles to the largest galaxies and everything in between. Since I was a child I've looked up at the sky and seen a world full of wonder, beauty, and mystery. The same wonder that filled my heart when I was in elementary school still takes hold when I look up now, decades later. I chose the formation of things for a specific reason. When I was a kid I had a habit of asking my parents where everything came from. It wasn't enough that a star was there, I needed to know how it got there and if possible why it was there. As I grew up I developed an immense appetite for almost all things science and history and with that came some of the answers I needed. The reality of how these things came to be was so much more interesting and astounding than my imagination that all these years later I am still captivated by the idea of an exploding star or the Big Bang. So lets take a journey, you and I. First we'll see the death of an immense star and watch as its own gravity rips it apart and forms a black hole. We'll see it feed on matter and light around it until it too finally dies. Next we'll go back 13.7 billion years and watch as tiny particles dance in and out of existence in the endless nothingness that once was. We'll see one of these tiny bits expand in an instant and give rise to everything that ever has been or will be. Watch hydrogen form and gravity pull it into the first stars. Those stars will form galaxies and we'll see glimpses of the Universe as it exists now. Finally, we will travel to the end of time, a trillion years or more into the future. There we will witness the dissipation of the galaxies, the death of stars, and the final moments as even tiny electrons are pulled apart into the nothing from which we all came. Parts of this piece are violent, but we will see that at the end of time, the formation of nothing is just as beautiful as the formation of a star. Everything has its time and everything ends. Premiered by the Hartt Wind Ensemble - Glen Adsit, Conductor.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.976710 Composed by Robert Myers. Christian,Concert,Contemporary,Easter,Sacred. Octavo. 10 pages. WheatMyer Music #4767525. Published by WheatMyer Music (A0.976710). It Is Not Death to Die is a new setting of French poet Henri Abraham César Malan's Non, ce n'est pas mourir as translated by George Washington Bethune and adapted for this work. Why this text? It first came to my notice shortly after the passing of Billy Graham, who was known to paraphrase D. L. Moody,   Someday you will read or hear that Billy Graham is dead. Don’t you believe a word of it. I shall be more alive than I   am now. I will just have changed my address. I will have gone into the presence of God.Graham's bold proclamation and Malan's poetry motivated me to focus anew on the resurrection, re-remembering it as the pivotal element of the Christian faith. For if there is no resurrection, Paul says in 1 Cor 15, our faith is useless. But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead! Unfortunately, singing about heaven has, perhaps, been neglected of recent decades. We seem to have focused more on the already to the detriment of the not yet. But it is important to remember that this life is not all there is! Quoting Paul again, the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us (Rom 8:18). Yet, if Christ delays, the grim inevitability of our transition into eternity is a certain experience we all face. Malan's poetry so poignantly and eloquently captures this tension that it compelled me to compose a fresh musical setting that attempts to captures the mixture of dread and hope borne out in the acclamation that death is swallowed up in victory! I pray that this setting aids the Church to remember the great hope and promise Christ has granted us:   O Death, where is your victory?    O Death, where is your sting?_______________________________________________________________________________________________The music opens with a C# diminished chord in a very still and somber texture reflective of grief. The text is introduced with the first of two main motives, a rising 4-note outline of B minor in a triple repetition of It Is Not Death. As each stanza proceeds the music concludes on the second motive, a 5-note descending span of a minor 7th in Bb Lydian. The energy and mood of the music gradually shift over the five stanzas, as the focus moves from this life to the next; the texture thickens, the harmony expands, and the dynamic grows into the music’s pinnacle on reign with You on high! The music closes on a reprise of the opening section, simultaneously mindful of our mortality and our eternity.

Guitar,Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1040262 Composed by Mac Montgomery, Mitch Wong, and Ryan Ellis. Arranged by Barry McCormick. Praise & Worship,Sacred. Score. 12 pages. B. McCormick #645041. Published by B. McCormick (A0.1040262). About this Piano/Vocal/Guitar arrangement of “Heart of the Father†This arrangement containing a simple piano accompaniment and melody with chords of Heart of the Father by Ryan Ellis was created with the focus of ease of use in a Church setting for this modern song of worship. In the popular recording of this song Ellis uses his musicianship to change the melody slightly each verse as well as include expressive and elaborate vocal runs in numerous places through out the song. My aim was to write the melody omitting these vocal flourishes which are not as suitable for a corporate worship setting. With my many years of experience as church musician, worship leader and MD, I shaped this arrangement in a way to convey all necessary information for a modern church worship band with ease. Firstly the main Score simply has the melody and piano accompaniment. Secondly the parts are split up so the melody and accompaniment can be shared separately. The Lead, melody part, includes the chords so this part acts as a lead sheet which can be used for guitarists. I have also included the melody for Bb instruments also for bands which may have them. I have used repeats in a optimised way so that the music for each part takes up no more than 2 pages. All musicians know the frustrating limitations of music stands to hold much more than that! If you like this arrangement a also have some other arrangements of Christian worship songs and Hymns from Lead sheets to classical guitar arrangements you may also like to check out. About the Arranger, Barry McCormick I am Barry McCormick, I have an MA in music from the University of Glasgow. I am a musician, composer and arranger from Scotland. Acoustic Guitar,Instrumental Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1160107 Composed by Traditional/Anonymous. Arranged by Socrates Arvanitakis. Classical,Early Music,Folk,Traditional. Individual part. 39 pages. Socrates Arvanitakis #760384. Published by Socrates Arvanitakis (A0.1160107). This is the twenty-second volume of an extensive collection of folk songs arranged for the classical guitar mostly in two-part counterpoint. The arrangements are of moderate difficulty and the aims of this publication are to familiarise, entertain and educate guitarists (and other musicians) with a melodic repertoire of lasting aesthetic value, under the light of contrapuntal treatment. The thirty five volumes of this collection can certainly be printed on paper if so desired and there are a few pages in each volume, either blank or with photographs of various musicians, which can be inserted at will in any place for the correct ordering of left and right hand pages so that page turns can be avoided. The principle of avoiding page turns has been maintained in all  volumes, but this edition is also designed with mobile electronic devices in mind such as tablets etc, using the environment and facilities of a score reading application, towards a paperless world, at least in music. Therefore the size of the staves is bigger than usual for ease of reading on a small screen but not big enough to exceed the limit of a two-page view. Active internal links for navigating from thematic indexes to particular songs and back to indexes have been added, and also external internet links to sites that give further information for the 945 songs of this first collection for classical guitar.Volume 22 (Songs 568-594)Low Down in the BroomLow, Low Lands of Holland (the)LowlandsLowlands LowLoyal Lover (the)Lulle LullayLyke Wake DirgeMaa Bonny LadMaggie LauderMaid of Australia (the)Maid of the Mill (the)Maid of Tottenham (the)Mallow FlingMango WalkMaranoa LullabyMaria MartenMarrowbonesMary Ann 1Mary Ann 2Mary Had a BabyMary HamiltonMatthy GrovesMaw Canny HinnyMay Day CarolMcPherson’s RantMen of HarlechMen’s Clothes I Will Put On

Music by Kevin G. Pace. Text by Mark R. Fotheringham.Text:BOTHGoodbye love, we sigh at parting.Goodbye love, we hold back the tears.Though our love may tide all weather, ohIt cannot hide our fears.HEI will not be gone forever. No, I’ll not be gone so long.Hold my heart with yours forever, Love,Then our love will ne'er go wrong. SHEYou will not be gone forever. No, you’ll not be gone so long.Hold my heart with yours forever, Love,Then our love will ne'er go wrong.BOTHGoodbye love, we sigh at parting.Goodbye love, we hold back the tears.Though our love may tide all weather, ohIt may not dispel our fears.HEThough my love is far away, her love is a constant.I see her face in ev'ry flower I see.I hear her voice, in ev'ry stream; It flows to my yearning sea.I carry on because she waits for me.SHEWhat would I do without his loveThe shadows would be too deepHis love is like the starry nightThat bids me sle-ep.HEThen in my dreams, when ev'rything seemsSo bright at her ev'ry touch, oh ma-y INe-ver awake to see the morn. In- dreams never can I miss her.SHEThough my love is gone away,His love is ever in my heart. So, I wait for him to come homeWith arms wide open for me.Kisses to assure me of his love.BOTHGoodbye love, we sighed at parting.Goodbye love, we held back the tears. Now our love has weathered ev'ry storm,And conquered all our fears.SHEOh, you were not gone forever. No, you were not gone so long.Hold my heart with yours forever, Love,Then our love will ne'er go wrong. SHEYes, I was not gone forever. No, I was not gone so long.Hold my heart with yours forever, Love,Then our love will ne'er go wrong.BOTHGoodbye love, we sighed at parting.Goodbye love, we held back the tears. Now as love has weathered ev'ry storm,Love will last through all our years.

Growing there, where none can reach you, making of the going days the stuff of yourself. I can only watch, remembering in you the art of empty tomorrows, written all over with impulse. Nor can I tell how many times you will fall; only be there to help you survive your desires. Oh I will spend with you ev'ry wish as you go the long way through sorrow for you can only find for yourself how the magic arithmetic suddenly adds up. Now time will come for you soon enough ; the day wake in your eyes. So sleep as long as you can, gathering there the necessary and private ways of enduring. .

Christian,Singer/Songwriter,Spiritual. 11 pages. Kimberly Joy Minarich #938120. Published by Kimberly Joy Minarich (A0.1353361). Everyday, I pray with my children that “we would be a light†everywhere we go, reflecting God’s love and His light of salvation. After talking about what this means with them, I decided to write a song about exactly what this Light is and how we can find it, see it, then BE that to this world. As we walk this earth, we are all searching for our purpose and something to believe in. I hope you’ll turn your eyes upward, listen to the lyrics of this song to help guide you, then find your compass and direction as you face the Light. Jesus died on the cross for us…He wants us to spend eternity with Him, enjoy the blessings of life, and find joy! Because we live in a broken world, there will be heartache…but if we walk with Him, we can find security, purpose, and companionship like we’ve never known. Enjoy searching for the light as you take this musical journey of what it feels like to me!
