Drum Set,Electric Bass Guitar,Piano Accompaniment,Synthesizer - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1105114 By David Kai. By David Kai. Arranged by David Kai. Christian,Contemporary,Jazz,Rock. Full Performance. Duration 199. David Kai #708361. Published by David Kai (A0.1105114). The title for this song came from a plaque that I saw in a Christian book store. Jesus’ teachings about prayer from Matthew 7 or Luke 11 were also an inspiration. This song was first recorded by the Sellwoods gospel group. Seven Days Without Prayer words and music by David Kai ©1980 It’s a world where we depend on communication Through the wires and through the air information flows It’s an age where thoughts and words can cross the ocean It’s a shrinking world, but the space between us grows Though we talk to one another, there’s something missing We still need to speak from the soul, not just the mind We still need the oldest form of communication It’s available for free at any time The lines are open, why not send in a call? The Lord is waiting, just to hear from you all So just take some time for praying, God would love to hear you speak You know seven days without prayer makes one weak If a child should ask its father for bread and fishes Would that child receive a stone or a snake in its place? No, and if even earthly fathers will bless their children Won’t the heavenly Father bless and give you grace? So if you knock upon the door it will be opened If you speak unto the Lord you will be heard Look to Jesus, you will not be disappointed You will find he’s always faithful to his word The lines are open, why not send in a call? The Lord is waiting, just to hear from you all So just take some time for praying, God would love to hear you speak You know seven days without prayer makes one weak The lines are open, why not send in a call? The Lord is waiting, just to hear from you all So just take some time for praying, God would love to hear you speak You know seven days without prayer makes one weak Makes one weak.

How many birds have made their nests in this place? How many storms have blown? How many children have climbed them, generation upon generation? How many artists have found inspiration here? Guitar,Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.965763 By Lisa Waites. By Lisa Waites. Arranged by Lisa Waites. Children,Film/TV,Praise & Worship,Sacred,Spiritual. Score. 1 pages. Servant Song Music and Ministry #571431. Published by Servant Song Music and Ministry (A0.965763). I wrote this contemporary hymn as a musical prayer response to the invasion of Ukraine in 2022. In liturgical churches, it functions beautifully as a congregational sung response following the Prayers of the People (or even replacing the Prayers of the People). In evangelical settings, it can be sung as a stand-alone worship hymn right after the sermon, or as part of a set of worship songs at the beginning or conclusion of the service. I am a prolific songwriter, and I've been writing music for 35+ years now. Through all of those years, there have only been a handful of occasions where I have felt more like a conduit of the Holy Spirit than the composer of the hymn; this was definitely one of those times. This is Our Prayer is written in the key of F Major, making it highly accessible for beginning church accompanists. It has a moderate tempo, set in a 3/4 time signature with a lilting rhythm. The vocal range is designed for robust congregational singing. The melody line is just one octave, ranging from Middle C to the C above it; the Alto line is just a six note range, from Middle C to the A above. This score includes the piano accompaniment in a strophic, hymn style format, two-part vocal harmony, and guitar chords (which can also assist pianists who play by chord + melody line, instead of by reading the score). The simplicity of this hymn does not detract from its' beauty, however. This is a highly singable, memorable tune with some interesting rhythmic patterns. The lyrics of this hymn are loosely based on Romans 12:12-21 (As far as it depends upon you, live at peace with all people). The words of the hymn are truly a prayer, asking God for peace, but they also remind us that as people of faith, we are invited to participate WITH God in the process of making peace on earth, by how we pray, live, give, and place our trust in God. One lyric reads that we dare to pray for peace; this is an intentional choice on my part, flagging the potential costliness of becoming people who prioritize peace. The week this hymn was released to Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music Unlimited, Reverbnation, and Deezer, it debuted at #30 on the Top 100 Contemporary Christian Music Charts on Spotify. The YouTube video version of the hymn (link attached below) was viewed over 7,000 times in the first ten days, by people in over 40 countries. You are welcome to stream it for worship services, on church websites, and on social media. The more people view it, the more ad revenue it will generate, and all profits from the sale of this hymn in any form (video ad revenue, digital MP3 sales on the sites listed above, and the sale of this musical score) will be donated to the Red Cross and the United Church of Canada's Mission & Service Fund; both of these registered charities have targeted programs running to assist Ukrainians who've been displaced by the war. Once the Ukrainian war ends, I will continue to send all profits from the hymn to those same charities to help refugees in other conflict zones. May this hymn comfort and discomfort you. My prayer is that it will prompt all of us to live more faithfully as people of peace - in our individual lives, but also in our families, in our communities, our nations, and our world. To God be the glory!

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1016225 Composed by Anthony Theodore. Contemporary. Octavo. 5 pages. Anthony Theodore #5316925. Published by Anthony Theodore (A0.1016225). I am 17 years old and this the very first composition I have ever written. My vision for the world is to try and help people keep positive no matter how bad or how unbarring the situation may be. There are many people on the planet that have issues that need to be dealt with and I believe that one way that they can help themselves is by trying to thing of the times where things weren't so bad. Even if they were bad, those memories should be the reminders to help you grow throughout life. This is the message that I am trying to portray with Those Memories. At the age of 15, I had a vision to help people not to forget the good and the bad moments of their lives because once the memories are forgotten, people will never be able to go back and tell stories about how they developed and came to be. â€ƒSome of the lyrics were picked from a poem that was written 4 years ago in 2016 called One Brief Moment by John Fleming. The poem was found on a website that provides poems to those who like reading poems. The website is called poetrysoup.com and I think it's a pretty cool website for poem readers, so if you like poems and you want something new, you can go there and check it out. I hope you all enjoy the piece as much as I had fun writing it. Haha.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.927456 Composed by Roger Jones, Alison Fuggle. Arranged by Annie Routley. Christian,Easter,Musical/Show,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Octavo. 98 pages. Christian Music Ministries #6135917. Published by Christian Music Ministries (A0.927456). Rock - a worship musical.Full piano score with SATB choir, solo parts and narration.Starting in Caesarea, Peter's story unfolds in flashback. From fishing, his 3 years on the road alongside Jesus and the disciples, his triumphs and failures. Jesus calls Peter 'the Rock' - but we see that only in Christ, and filled with His Spirit, is Peter on solid ground.Synopsis Traditional words introduce the theme of the Musical: Jesus is our ROCK OF AGES, but the story starts IN CAESAREA BESIDE THE SEA. Here, centurion Cornelius declares I’ve had a vision - but who can explain it, who can help? Cornelius’ household tell of Simon Peter, a disciple of Jesus, and we are taken back to Galilee when Peter, a fisherman, WORKING IN THE FAMILY BUSINESS, hears Jesus’ call to leave your nets and leave your boats. He responds I WILL FOLLOW YOU. For three years Peter follows Jesus, and when challenged declares YOU ARE MESSIAH, the Son of the living God! Jesus replies On this rock I will build my church, then, ominously, points towards Jerusalem. He and his followers eventually arrive in the city at Passover, and during the meal they wonder IN THIS BREAD, IN THIS WINE, is there love for me? At first reluctant, Peter allows Jesus to wash his feet. Events turn against Jesus; he is arrested, and Peter is afraid. The taunt SURELY YOU MUST HAVE BEEN WITH HIM sees Peter denying he ever knew Jesus. Then their eyes meet across the courtyard, and Peter is devastated by his own failure. But even at such an awful time as this, THE LOOK OF LOVE contains acceptance and hope. WERE YOU THERE WHEN THEY CRUCIFIED MY LORD? Peter wasn’t - he was in hiding along with many of the disciples. But after the resurrection, Jesus greets Peter and the others in Galilee: THIS IS THE PLACE – I am the Lord who comes to meet you here. Jesus asks: SIMON PETER, DO YOU LOVE ME? After being asked three times Peter reaches reality: Lord, you know everything … you know how much I love you! and receives the commission Feed my sheep. Peter and the disciples return to Jerusalem, and wait for the promised Holy Spirit. At Pentecost the Spirit comes, and as A CHOSEN PEOPLE, the followers of Jesus receive his power. Peter preaches, and thousands believe and respond JUST AS I AM … O Lamb of God I come. The Church is born and in the power of the Spirit begin WORKING IN THE FATHER’S BUSINESS, doing the things that Jesus did! Peter eventually arrives IN CAESAREA BESIDE THE SEA. He shares his vision with Cornelius and his household, and declares God has no favourites … you can be saved too … if you believe in Jesus. They believe, receive the power of the Spirit, and Gentiles also become members of the Chosen People, called out of darkness into wonderful light! Peter’s vision is fulfilled – the Gospel is for all who believe in Jesus. Peter declares HE IS THE STONE that the builders rejected … on Jesus the ROCK I will build my life! .

Piano Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.887255 Composed by Charles-Louis Hanon. Arranged by Martin Woodward. Instructional. Score. 37 pages. Martin Woodward #6513221. Published by Martin Woodward (A0.887255). Hanon Piano / Keyboard Exercises 1 - 30Condensed and Simplified for Beginners Easy ReadingIn this short book you will find condensed and simplified versions of the Hanon piano finger exercises 1 - 30 as well as the major, harmonic minor and melodic minor scales in every key (two octaves). What is Hanon? The ‘Hanon Virtuoso Pianist’ is a collection of piano finger exercises designed to give equal strength, agility and flexibility to all five fingers of both hands. Written by Charles-Louis Hanon sometime in the 1800s, these exercises without doubt have become one of the most widely used techniques by today’s pianists. In my opinion these are the best finger exercises available. One really great thing about these exercises is that they are applicable to both absolute beginners and advanced players alike, particularly as the reading ability required is minimal. Whatever your ability, these exercises will help improve your technique and finger strength. Having been written well over 100 years ago, the original work is now in the public domain and therefore digital copies can be acquired free of charge on the internet. However, most of these are very poor quality and the instructions are mainly in French or Russian - neither of which work too well for me! For the full version I personally recommend the ‘Alfred’ Edition edited by Allan Small which is clear and has instructions in English. So why do I need this book? The whole point is to make it easy to read and to reduce page turns - less is more! In the full version the first 30 exercises take up fifty pages whereas here there are three exercises per page for the first 20, then two per page for the next 10, reducing the fifty pages to just twelve. I initially produced this for my own use only but figured that others may like to take advantage of what I’ve done. Does this mean that the print is just smaller? No, not at all. If you are familiar with these exercises you will know that they are repeated patterns which ascend and descend for two octaves diatonically. To condense and simplify them and consequently eliminate an enormous amount of page turns I have shown: the all-important fingering on the first pattern (as per the original)then the repeated second patternthen ‘changeover’ patterns between ascending and descending - which are sometimes slightly differentthen finally the last pattern of each exercise which again is often very slightly different. I have also written them two octaves apart (for easy reading) and only shown them for one octave instead of two. In practice they should be played one octave apart and ultimately be practiced for two octaves. You can print out any or all the pages as required (the link for the pdf printable version is given at the end of the book). Please see: https://learn-keyboard.co.uk/hanon.html

Alto Voice,Vocal Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1096313 Composed by David Warin Solomons. 20th Century,Chamber,Classical,Singer/Songwriter. 4 pages. David Warin Solomons #700277. Published by David Warin Solomons (A0.1096313). This manuscript is the origin of the flute and guitar piece To Marie ( https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/19984390?aff_id=175705 ). It has not been notated on computer, and not yet recorded, but I present it here just for interest. As you can see, it takes advantage of the many puns available on the French phrase for weeping willow. It is addressed to the poet Marie Keyser. The references to Chatterton, Enderby and Buddenbrooks relate to Marie's studies in German literature, in particular Chatterton's suicide. To Marie Sad soul, why don't you weep in company? Saule pleureur, seule pleureuse Why luxuriate in your nomadic liturgy? Saoule pluvieuse, seule pleureuse. The others do not seek to understand The power that holds you ever banned Sales pleurs de sel pluvieux A unicorn has carried off your innocence Saule pleureur, seule pleureuse But no ambition comes to conquer indigence Saoule pluvieuse, seule pleureuse. So on you wander, homeless poetess, Begging shelter for your misconstrued distress Sales pleurs de sel pluvieux. Hold down a job, my girl, hold down a job from nine to five. Souple leurre s'il le peut To keep you happy, settled and alive Saule pleureur For this short time - day in day out Forget you do not know what life's about Sales pleurs de ciel plus vieux. And then, when evening comes, too tired Saule pleureur, seule pleureuse. Your sad old inspiration all expired Saoule pluvieuse, seule pleureuse. You will cease to understand the power that held you forever banned. Souple leurre s'il le peut. No, in the name of Chatterton and Enderby! For who could wilful poetry's defender be? Long live poor Buddenbrooks and poor Marie With mind or body hopelessly at sea. Saules pleureurs, seuls plus vieux.

Small Ensemble B-Flat Clarinet,Bassoon,Oboe,Tenor Saxophone - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.799462 Composed by Drake Mabry. Contemporary. Score and parts. 24 pages. Drake Mabry #1989261. Published by Drake Mabry (A0.799462). Three Painters was a 2008 commission from the Conservatory of Music in Chalons, France. Each of the three movements is inspired by some of my favorite painters, in this case Yves Klein, Zao Wou-ki and Jackson Pollock for the first, second and third movements respectively. I first saw Yves Klein work on a visit to Balbao, Spain during an exhibit of his art at the Guggenheim Museum. There was a kind of giant sandbox filled with his famous blue pigment. The lighting created timbral shadows which varied depending on where the viewer stood. It was difficult to leave. I first saw Zao Wou-ki's paintings during an exhibit in Paris around 2000 – I don't remember where. The abstract shape and colors fascinated me and each work seemed to explore a different emotional perspective. And they were simply beautiful. In 1967 I began my music studies in New York and within a few months of arriving went to the Museum of Modern Art at W. 53rd street. On the way there I crossed paths with Moondog on the street near the museum dressed in his Viking outfit. From my first visit, the two artists I remember most vividly were Jackson Pollock and Alexander Calder. Jackson Pollock's art washed over my senses and I stared at One: Number 31 1950 for what seemed to be hours. And Calder's mobiles danced in slow motion and also captivated me. Someday I will write a work to pay homage to him. Three Painters depicts what I see in the works of these artists as sound over time. The first movement (Yves Klein) explores the subtle changing orchestrational timbres on the pitch 'F'. The second movement (Zao Wou-ki) uses the instruments without their reeds and/or mouthpieces resulting in waves of air sounds washing over the senses. The Third movement (Jackson Pollock) is a jazz-like romp which transfers his vibrant visual energy to a full-blown big band style played by the ensemble. The duration is 12 minutes.Three Painters was premiered by an ensemble conducted by Philippe Cambreling at the Auditorium, CRR de Chalon sur Saône, France on March 22, 2009.

My piano cover arrangement of Quiet Nights Of Quiet Stars by Antonio Carlos Jobim.Corcovado (known in English as Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars) is a bossa nova song and jazz standard written by Antônio Carlos Jobim in 1960. English lyrics were later written by Gene Lees. The Portuguese title refers to the Corcovado mountain in Rio de Janeiro.Tony Bennett recorded the first popular English cover of Quiet Nights with new lyrics by Buddy Kaye in 1963.   Numerous English cover recordings then followed sometimes credited to Lees and/or Kaye and Lees, including the Andy Williams recording of the song with English lyrics, reaching #92 in the Billboard Hot 100 and #18 in the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart in 1965.  Also receiving air-play, contemporaneously with Andy Williams' recording of Quiet Nights, was Kitty Kallen's version. Her album, titled Quiet Nights, was released by 20th Century-Fox Records in 1964.Lyrics below:Quiet nights of quiet starsQuiet chords from my guitarFloating on the silence that surrounds usQuiet thoughts and quiet dreamsQuiet walks by quiet streamsAnd a window looking on the mountainsAnd the sea, so lovelyThis is where I want to beHere, with you so close to meUntil the final flicker of life's amberI who was lost and lonelyBelieving life was onlyA bitter tragic jokeHave found with youThe meaning of existence oh, my love

Brass Ensemble Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.767364 Composed by Claudio Monteverdi. Arranged by Mike Lyons. Baroque,Renaissance. Score and parts. 42 pages. Lyons Music Services #3545477. Published by Lyons Music Services (A0.767364). At long last I have nearly finished the 7th book. This book has posed some issues as it is such complex music it is almost impossible to cut it down to 5 parts while maintaining its integrity. As a result, some songs will be in 6 or more parts. Here is a group of four very short songs for soprano duet with continuo. I have arranged them as a duet for trumpet/cornet with a four part accompaniment. The four songs are related under the commone title Ohimè, dov'è il mio ben but each also has a title of its own:1. Romanesca a 2 (This is the subtitle. A romanesca was a musical formula characterised by a falling sequence of 5 notes and with a fixed harmonic progression.) The text translates as Alas, where is my beloved?2. Dunque ha potuto sol desio d'onore - Can it be that love of honour...3. Dunque ha potuto in me, più che il mio amore - Can it be that ambition and vainglory...4. Ahi, sciocco mondo - Alas, foolish blind worldEach song is a setting of a pair of couplets which together form the whole poem, which is why I have collected them together here. Besides, on their own, each is too short. Here also is evidence of Monteverdi's progress in telling a story through music. These four songs work beautifully on brass, with gorgeous suspensions and resolutions and well directed rhythmic drive from the accompaniment. The seventh book is quite a change from the earlier ones. Monteverdi seems to be concentrating on developing solos and duets, trios and small accompanied ensembles. The accompaniments are often written out with more than just long note chords. The intricate instrumental parts are more than just filling in the harmony (hence the difficulty in paring them down.)Once again, these songs are exquisitely crafted and travel well onto brass.

Guitar,Instrumental Duet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1275335 By Dire Straits. By Mark Knopfler. Arranged by Derek Hasted. Film/TV,Pop. 14 pages. Derek Hasted #867218. Published by Derek Hasted (A0.1275335). LOCAL HERO - WILD THEME - 2 GUITARS Performance Version Primarily for classical guitar but also suits acoustic or electric guitars.Derek Hasted writes Rightly described as an astonishingly beautiful piece, this music from the film Local Hero actually features twice on the soundtrack album, in different keys with different solo instruments. My arrangement for classical guitar exploits the soft tones of the nylon strings and works well at a slightly more modest pace compared to the original. I’ve taken the theme from the closing soundtrack version, where the melody is clear and powerful. Each player takes the lead part in turn, and my arrangement includes one or two little bits of Mark Knopfler’s quasi-improvised variations on the tune. There’s left hand fingering in a few places where the accompaniment is only comfortable in one position. There are no dynamics, but the changing texture of the accompaniment creates the illusion of dynamic changes and you are welcome to add phrasing and dynamics to make the performance “yoursâ€.This enjoyable concert item has a wonderfully captivating melody that the audience will be humming all the way home...My duet arrangement comes in 2 formats... This one is a performance version (in which the workload is shared equally and there’s an effortless switching of parts in the middle), set in score only, for two advanced intermediate players.A separate arrangement (for student and teacher) comprises a student melody line (set in score and score+tab) and an arpeggio teacher's accompaniment, set in score only. The student line is early intermediate, and the teacher's part is advanced intermediate. To find the other version easily, visit my website (below) and look for my list of guitar duets.I hope you enjoy playing this piece! This is one of a large and growing range of accessible ensembles from experienced arranger Derek Hasted, and is supplied as full score and parts.
