Bassoon,Clarinet,Flute,Horn,Oboe - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.746991 By Dizzy Gillespie. By Dizzy Gillespie and Frank Paparelli. Arranged by Keith Terrett. Jazz. 13 pages. Keith Terrett #5827945. Published by Keith Terrett (A0.746991). A great sounding arrangement of A Night in Tunisia, your Wind Quintet will love it!A jazz solo is written out for you, if you wish you can improvise on the given chord symbols!A Night in Tunisia is a musical composition written by Dizzy Gillespie around 1941–42, while Gillespie was playing with the Benny Carter band. It has become a jazz standard. It is also known as Interlude. Gillespie called the tune Interlude and said some genius decided to call it 'Night in Tunisia'. He said the tune was composed at the piano at Kelly's Stables in New York. He gave Frank Paparelli co-writer credit in compensation for some unrelated transcription work, but Paparelli had nothing to do with the song. A Night in Tunisia was one of the signature pieces of Gillespie's bebop big band, and he also played it with his small groups. In January 2004, The Recording Academy added the 1946 Victor recording by Gillespie to the Grammy Hall of Fame.On the album A Night at Birdland Vol. 1, Art Blakey introduced his 1954 cover version with this statement: At this time we'd like to play a tune [that] was written by the famous Dizzy Gillespie. I feel rather close to this tune because I was right there when he composed it in Texas on the bottom of a garbage can. The audience laughs, but Blakey responds, Seriously. The liner notes say, The Texas department of sanitation can take a low bow.The complex ostinato bass line in the A section is notable for avoiding the standard walking bass pattern of straight quarter notes, and the use of oscillating half-step-up/half-step-down chord changes (using the Sub V, a tritone substitute chord for the dominant chord) gives the song a unique, mysterious feeling. The B section is notable for having an unresolved minor II-V, since the chord progression of the B section is taken from the B section of the standard Alone Together, causing the V chord to lead back into the Sub V of the A section.Like many of Gillespie's tunes, it features a short written introduction and a brief interlude that occurs between solo sections - in this case, a twelve-bar sequence leading into a four-bar break for the next soloist.

Brass Ensemble Euphonium - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.813369 Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Regis Bookshar. Baroque,Instructional,Multicultural,Standards,World. Score and parts. 45 pages. Regis Bookshar #6209741. Published by Regis Bookshar (A0.813369). Euphonium Quintet - Advanced - Digital Download. This must-have arrangement would be a fabulous addition to any music library and could be performed for concerts and recitals and could also be performed for church services. This brilliant work by Johann Sebastian Bach is an adaptation of Antonio Vivaldi's Concerto for Four Violins and String Orchestra in B minor. Bach had gotten to know Vivaldi's concertos while he was an organist at Weimar, where he transcribed ten of them for solo harpsichord and six of them for organ. Originally written in B minor, Bach transposed it to A minor and, while preserving the melodic outline as conceived by Vivaldi for four violins, this later adaptation, from around 1730, for four harpsichords and string orchestra, is far more ambitious. In it, Bach has both tightened and expanded Vivaldi's counterpoint, enriched it with lusher harmonies and expanded the solo parts with greater complexity and greater clarity. The result is a composition that actually improves on the original work. Written in the standard three-movement concerto form of the Baroque period, Bach's Concerto for Four Claviers in A minor is a virtuoso piece for the soloists. Regis Bookshar has now rearranged the first movement of this concerto, marked Allegro, for a Euphonium Quintet, while maintaining the energy and virtuosity of Bach's original work. This arrangement is intended to be performed by accomplished players and may prove to be a huge challenge for many players, but, I think, it will be worth the effort. Included are a score and a complete set of parts, written in Bass Clef (45 pages). If you would prefer, a version written in Treble Clef is also available. In addition to this version for 5 Euphoniums, other arrangements of this selection are also available for a variety of Instrumental Quintets, some of which are in the original key of Concert A minor and some have been transposed to Concert G minor, making it a little easier for some performers, as well as numerous other arrangements in a wide variety of styles. I would encourage you to search for other arrangements by Regis Bookshar. You may find something else which might interest you as well. I'm certain that this exciting arrangement will be a challenge to many performers but will continue to entertain both performers and audiences alike for years to come. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed working on it.

Solo Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.924177 Composed by James R. Murray. Arranged by R.S. Carrier. Children,Christian,Christmas,Classical,Sacred. Individual part. 2 pages. Ralph scott carrier #3680995. Published by ralph scott carrier (A0.924177). The beloved Away in a Manger, known to children from two years of age and up. In the key of D (major,) a simple and well known melody. Note: Although I do consider this a simple little song, any thought that this is an unusually easy guitar arrangement would be a mistake. This is, in fact, a rather challenging arrangement, especially the way I have tabbed it. Measures 6 - 9 are particularly difficult. If you can find an easier way to finger it, more power to you. Some contradictory information has been found regarding the attribution of the opus. Some have suggested it was from Martin Luther (himself,) but others have said it was written for his 400th anniversary. But the hymn book I found it in (to copy the lyrics) attributes it to a James R. Murray, so I have also given him credit. It was first published in 1884, in any event.

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1263746 Composed by Ben Fielding and Reuben Morgan. Arranged by Brian Buda. Christian,Contemporary,Praise & Worship,Religious. Score. 16 pages. Budaful music #856686. Published by budaful music (A0.1263746). This is a piano solo arrangement of Hillsong's, Who You Say I Am. This arrangement does not follow the chords from the 'traditional' worship song so it works best as a solo. It's a perfect piece for the intermediate/advanced pianist to use in preludes and offertories. It's easy to play through the entire arrangement, although there are options to cut it short– or keep it going– if desired. The shorter version on the first 3 pages is more intermediate, wheras the full version becomes more advacned as it progresses. Form: V1, Chorus, V2, Chorus 2X, Bridge, Chorus 2X. Play 2 verses with choruses, or the entire arrangement. 3 key options available: A, Ab, and G. (It was originally arranged in A, then transposed to Ab & G. Some chord voicings and fingerings might need to be adjusted in those keys.).

Guitar - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1459563 By Ron k Wiggins. By Daniel E Kelley. Arranged by Ron k Wiggins. Classical,Country,Folk,Instructional,Traditional. Guitar Tab. 2 pages. WigMusic #1038517. Published by WigMusic (A0.1459563). This arrangement of the classic cowboy song from 1874 is simple in concept. For solo fingerstyle guitar it has a melody with a bass line of the common chord bass runs the old folk and blues players worked out in the first half of the 20th century.  One benefit of this is that if you learn this arrangement you will also learn those chord runs in the keys of D and E. The end result turned out quite nice; This arrangement is more difficult than it may look. It is on the advanced side of Intermediate;  But once you master it I think you will enjoy playing it and your audience should like it, It is arranged first in D and then in E

We'd all played or conducted Danse Macabre so it was just a matter of rescoring it for the Quartet. ; at 17 pages of score and 6 or 7 pages per part, and lasting over 7 minutes, it's a lot of music but we enjoyed it and it seemed to work for the guests at the function. Guitar Ensemble Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.797738 Composed by Leslie Osborne and Simon May. Arranged by Derek Hasted. Contemporary. Score and parts. 25 pages. Derek Hasted #4327089. Published by Derek Hasted (A0.797738). ALWAYS THERE (Howard's Way) - 4 GUITARS or LARGE ENSEMBLEFor Classical or Acoustic Guitar - sometimes it's erroneously listed here as Electric Guitar.Derek Hasted writes You might not know this piece - it was the theme to the UK Television Series Howard’s Way which was broadcast between 1985 and 1990. It was composed as an instrumental with an incessant beat and a disco-like break in the middle. The piece was re-worked as the much more laid-back song Always There by Marti Webb; the song rose high into the Top Twenty. It also opened her album of the same name. But the song version lost much of the drive of the original. As this quartet arrangement is for playing, not singing, it makes sense to put all the drive back in!If you visit YouTube you will find some recordings of the original theme and these should point you in the right direction to make this piece blossom into a big wall of sound...It's for an intermediate quartet or large ensemble. Guitar 4 is tuned 6=D and is the most straightforward line. There's a version of Guitar 4 in bass clef for contra or electric bass, and here normal tuning is used. Guitar 3 is all arpeggios, mainly in first position. Guitars 1 and 2 take the tune and countermelodies. It's a foot-tapping piece that audiences will love!I hope you enjoy playing this piece!

Piano Solo - Digital Download SKU: A0.1014879 Composed by Damien Gauci. Contemporary. Score. 4 pages. Damien Gauci #4641457. Published by Damien Gauci (A0.1014879). This is my second piece that I have wrote for piano and in general. The reason I chose the name Yesterday's Future is basically because I wanted to write a piece where it portrays moving on from something happening in you life. If I were to write it again, I would probably change up the melody a bit halfway through to make it more interesting, but nonetheless, I am pretty happy with it. As the theme continues throughout the whole the piece, changing very subtly, it resembles something you need to let go of. At the end of the piece with the held right hand and moving left hand, I wanted to make that part sound like it is moving on with the dynamics changing to resemble anger and relief. Anyway, thanks again for listening, hope you enjoyed it and there is much more to come!
