Brass Quintet Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Digital Download SKU: A0.1462303 By The Beatles. By John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Arranged by Will Corbin. Pop. 25 pages. Will Corbin #1041060. Published by Will Corbin (A0.1462303). This light-hearted ditty (critics hated that about it) appeared on the Beatles' 1968 White Album. It was released as a single everywhere but the U.S. and the UK, and it topped the charts in several countries. When it was issued as a single in the U.S. in 1976, after the Beatles had broken up, it crawled about halfway up the Billboard Hot 100.Although it's credited to the team of John Lennon and Paul McCartney, McCartney was its composer. Lennon hated it.If you'd like different instrumentation, please contact me at wilcor@aol.com.

French Horn Quartet Horn - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1252433 Composed by Monty Norman. Arranged by Peter Clark. 20th Century,Film/TV,Jazz. 8 pages. Petey C. #846404. Published by Petey C. (A0.1252433). Hey Friends! As always, I have a couple public domain arrangements on my website, peteyc.com. Check them out, they're cheaper and support me more than what little percentage I get from here. This arrangement is one of my most viewed on my YouTube channel. I made it several years ago and it's been very popular to play live as well. It's an iconic theme that's been around since the 1960's. If you play in a horn quartet, this is the arrangement to get. There are no drums in the arrangement like there are in my recording, but you can get a great idea of how it sounds by the YouTube link here.Like all of my arrangements, I like to pass around melodic stuff so none of the parts are boring. This arrangement has some pretty extreme range and some fluttertongue in one of the parts. It's not extremely difficult but it can be challenging. Not for beginners. Intermediate to advanced. Thanks for checking it out!

Bassoon,Clarinet,Flute,Horn,Oboe - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.746991 By Dizzy Gillespie. By Dizzy Gillespie and Frank Paparelli. Arranged by Keith Terrett. Jazz. 13 pages. Keith Terrett #5827945. Published by Keith Terrett (A0.746991). A great sounding arrangement of A Night in Tunisia, your Wind Quintet will love it!A jazz solo is written out for you, if you wish you can improvise on the given chord symbols!A Night in Tunisia is a musical composition written by Dizzy Gillespie around 1941–42, while Gillespie was playing with the Benny Carter band. It has become a jazz standard. It is also known as Interlude. Gillespie called the tune Interlude and said some genius decided to call it 'Night in Tunisia'. He said the tune was composed at the piano at Kelly's Stables in New York. He gave Frank Paparelli co-writer credit in compensation for some unrelated transcription work, but Paparelli had nothing to do with the song. A Night in Tunisia was one of the signature pieces of Gillespie's bebop big band, and he also played it with his small groups. In January 2004, The Recording Academy added the 1946 Victor recording by Gillespie to the Grammy Hall of Fame.On the album A Night at Birdland Vol. 1, Art Blakey introduced his 1954 cover version with this statement: At this time we'd like to play a tune [that] was written by the famous Dizzy Gillespie. I feel rather close to this tune because I was right there when he composed it in Texas on the bottom of a garbage can. The audience laughs, but Blakey responds, Seriously. The liner notes say, The Texas department of sanitation can take a low bow.The complex ostinato bass line in the A section is notable for avoiding the standard walking bass pattern of straight quarter notes, and the use of oscillating half-step-up/half-step-down chord changes (using the Sub V, a tritone substitute chord for the dominant chord) gives the song a unique, mysterious feeling. The B section is notable for having an unresolved minor II-V, since the chord progression of the B section is taken from the B section of the standard Alone Together, causing the V chord to lead back into the Sub V of the A section.Like many of Gillespie's tunes, it features a short written introduction and a brief interlude that occurs between solo sections - in this case, a twelve-bar sequence leading into a four-bar break for the next soloist.

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1172232 By Sarah Bonsignore. By Sarah Bonsignore. Arranged by Sarah Bonsignore. 19th Century,20th Century,Classical,Contemporary,Romantic Period. Score. 11 pages. Sarah Bonsignore #772456. Published by Sarah Bonsignore (A0.1172232). Here is a brand new piece in five parts that has been haunting me for two days. It came to me at 3am yesterday and I went into my studio to notate it. It's a dreamy, soothing and sometimes soaring piece that reminded me of the octopus from the amazing documentary My Octopus Teacher. Part 1 is possibly more beginner intermediate, and I think some of the parts can be played as individual solos. I've included a link to the youtube demo on the score with an above hands view and a light up keyboard so that students can follow the score and listen. My husband and children loved this piece when they heard it, so I'm excited to have it published for others to learn and play. Part 3 was an idea from a piece I improvized in the Tottenham Court tube station a few years ago (yes, there was a piano in the tube station, and there should be a piano in every tube station as far as I'm concerned :) The theme I played that day never left me and it seemed to fit here. I wrote an expanded version of part 3 called Flight in D major that I hope to include on my website singplaystudios.com and here in a few weeks, so if you like part 3, I hope you'll check that piece out too. I plan to include this work in my 20 Beautiful Piano Solos book 3 (please find the first two books and many other repertoire and ear training books on Amazon). Thank you for considering learning this piece. It is very special to me, and you can read more about my inspiration and process at the youtube link.

String Quartet Cello,String Quartet,Viola,Violin - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1177803 Composed by Camille Saint Saens. Arranged by David F Wainwright. 20th Century,Thriller. 43 pages. D F Wainwright #777761. Published by D F Wainwright (A0.1177803). A few years back the Spring Quartet was booked for a Halloween gig with a request for 'a lot' of Halloween music. We'd all played or conducted Danse Macabre so it was just a matter of rescoring it for the Quartet. ; at 17 pages of score and 6 or 7 pages per part, and lasting over 7 minutes, it's a lot of music but we enjoyed it and it seemed to work for the guests at the function. If you buy it now (February) you've loads of time to perfect it!

Choral Choir (SATB) - Digital Download SKU: A0.897947 By Kenny Chesney featuring Willie Nelson. By Willie Nelson. Arranged by Dana Usealman. A Cappella,Rock. Octavo. 6 pages. Dana Usealman #3691701. Published by Dana Usealman (A0.897947). 2018 Holiday Contest EntrySSAATTBThis arrangement should be performable by a high school choir, but can also be appreciated by a more advanced choir.Willie Nelson's iconic song, made famous by Roy Orbison, was written about a disabled street vendor that would sell gift wrap, ribbons, and pencils during the holiday season. It was later embellished and published as a short story. It's a beautiful, yet somber song, that reminds us that not everyone is jolly during the Christmas season. This is a good piece for the middle of a concert to provide a contrast to the typical Christmas genre or to bring awareness and support to those that struggle during the season. Pretty Paper is typically a simple country song with swinging 8ths, but I've arranged it with full harmonies and straight 8ths for a completely different feel. You could still perform it with swinging 8ths if you'd like more of the original character of the piece. I originally thought it would be an a Capella arrangement and arranged all of the voice parts first, but felt it needed a bit more rhythmic pull and added the piano. It could still be performed a Capella for a more simple, thoughtful performance.

Solo Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.924177 Composed by James R. Murray. Arranged by R.S. Carrier. Children,Christian,Christmas,Classical,Sacred. Individual part. 2 pages. Ralph scott carrier #3680995. Published by ralph scott carrier (A0.924177). The beloved Away in a Manger, known to children from two years of age and up. In the key of D (major,) a simple and well known melody. Note: Although I do consider this a simple little song, any thought that this is an unusually easy guitar arrangement would be a mistake. This is, in fact, a rather challenging arrangement, especially the way I have tabbed it. Measures 6 - 9 are particularly difficult. If you can find an easier way to finger it, more power to you. Some contradictory information has been found regarding the attribution of the opus. Some have suggested it was from Martin Luther (himself,) but others have said it was written for his 400th anniversary. But the hymn book I found it in (to copy the lyrics) attributes it to a James R. Murray, so I have also given him credit. It was first published in 1884, in any event.

Tenor Voice,Vocal Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.746173 By Stevie Wonder. By Orlando Murden. Arranged by Michael Pilley. Pop. 5 pages. Michael Pilley Music #3684029. Published by Michael Pilley Music (A0.746173). THE ARRANGEMENTA few years ago, good friends of mine were getting married and asked if I could arrange this song for their ceremony, to be sung by a tenor with piano accompaniment. I wanted to write a completely new take on this classic song, so decided to set it as a ballad, rather than the popular Stevie Wonder version which is uptempo. I also had a very good pianist and tenor soloist, so consequently, the difficulty of the arrangement is at an advanced intermediate level, with the tenor going up to a Bb and the piano part containing a lot of black notes! I was really happy with how it turned out, but unfortunately couldn't fly to Australia just for the wedding and they didn't record it. So now it's available to purchase, in the hope that someone would enjoy singing it and maybe even send me a recording! THE SONGWritten for the Motown label, it first was recorded by Barbara McNair, followed by a host of others in a ballad style, until Stevie Wonder pumped up the tempo and reached #2 on the U.S. Billboard charts. It eventually was the title track for his album of the same name, and features the amazing Funk Brothers, most notably James Jamerson for his incredible bass playing on this track, known to be one of the greatest example of his style. Stevie Wonder also provided the harmonica solo on the track.PRINTING TIPSBeautifully laid out, the score and parts are easy to read and available NOW for digital download. We suggest you print on 80gsm paper, to ensure that the copies last longer in your library.More music can be found at www.michaelpilleymusic.com and follow me at https://www.facebook.com/MichaelPilleyMusic/ or https://twitter.com/MPilleyMusic
