Many of the arrangements that are out there don’t have same notes as the original, and therefore some of the cleverness and simplicity of the original gets lost.This arrangement uses the same shapes as the original, and there’s tablature as well so that you can easily see that almost all the measures in the music have the same right hand fingering, despite the mix of open and stopped strings making the score look much more complex than it actually is!Set in the same key as the original, the tune does go rather high but it’s not difficult to play and it makes for much greater clarity than playing down the neck.As the piece progresses, both players have a go at the tune and also the accompaniment...Each guitar part is provided in score (which will easily fit on a music stand) and score + tab which is a bit more bulky.I hope you enjoy playing this piece!

After a short interlude, part two plays the melody for the second verse while part one plays harmony. If you want to play only the first verse, an optional ending is provided or it can be skipped to perform the two verses together. Included in this set of scores is a combined score with both instrument parts on a grand staff plus a separate score for each instrument. A note and chord chart is also provided to aid in the learning and teaching of this song.
