This piece attempts to portray such trust in God during times of struggle and pain.At least two soloists are necessary, but the solo parts may be divided among more singers if desired to suit your ensemble. The piece may be performed successfully using only chorus, soloists, and piano; however, there is also an orchestration available (S0.249231) for trumpet, tenor sax, guitar, and upright bass. Be warned that the tenor sax part is advanced-but someone who regularly handles musical theater woodwind books should have no problem. If you look closely, the entire bass line is intact as well as most of the dynamics. If the music still sounds distinctly like the original (especially the coda section), well, that was intentional; I didn't want this first piece to be too different.
