2 Pianos,4 Hands,Piano Duet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1135493 Composed by Ingunn Bjarnadóttir. Arranged by Richard Simm. 20th Century,Chamber,Classical,Folk,Multicultural,World. Score. 2 pages. Richard Simm #735542. Published by Richard Simm (A0.1135493). The last song in this set was composed by Ingunn Bjarnadóttir, a uniquely gifted Icelandic woman who made up tunes from her earliest childhood without any formal musical training at all. Later, her husband wrote down the melodic lines, and she gradually came to the attention of Iceland's musical society, where her large output now commands great respect among those who know their country's cultural history. Her melodies lend themselves well to conventional harmonic treatment, yet their unique character has something ethereal about it, as if it refuses to be tied to the conventional rules of mere academic musical logic. This tune, for example, ends in a key very remote from its beginning, yet it follows a perfect logic of its own! The arranger is indebted to the composer's daughter for her generous permission to use Ingunn's lovely melody, Æskuheit.

String Quartet Cello,String Quartet,Viola,Violin - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1164324 By Rick Astley. By Matthew Aitken, Mike Stock, and Peter Waterman. Arranged by Matt Arnett. Pop. Score and parts. 9 pages. Matt Arnett Music #764672. Published by Matt Arnett Music (A0.1164324). This simplified version of Rick Astley's meme-famous piece is excellent for young string students. Everyone gets a turn playing the melody, and the quartet only splits into two rhythmic groups, making this a good introduction to small ensemble skills. The melody is the most difficult part to play - plan to spend a good amount of time rehearsing and practicing this. And of course, if possible you should introduce this piece as something else and Rick Roll your audience - I usually say we are playing a theme from Symphony in G my Mozart. Enjoy this piece!

Flute Choir,Woodwind Ensemble Alto Flute,Bass Flute - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1173842 By Kristen Bell. By Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Arranged by Lisa Ochoco. Broadway,Film/TV,Musical/Show. 30 pages. Lisa L Ochoco #773993. Published by Lisa L Ochoco (A0.1173842). Disney's movie, Frozen is so popular, and the songs are, as usual, very popular too. This song is my favorite, even it's the most heart-breaking. It shows the lives of Elsa and Anna beginning as happy children, who enjoy each other's company. Elsa finds out that her ice powers are potentially harmful to her younger sister and is forced to isolate herself in her bedroom. Anna tries, unsuccessfully, to coax her sister out to play for many years. Then, they receive news that their parents have died at sea in a storm. Lonely and desperately unhappy, Anna knocks on her sister's bedroom door...             Elsa?           Please, I know you're in there           People are asking where you've been           They say, Have courage, and I'm trying to           I'm right out here for you, just let me in           We only have each other           It's just you and me           What are we gonna do?           Do you wanna build a snowman?   Scored for low flute choir - 4 altos, 2 basses and contrabass. There is an optional double bass part that doubles contrabass to help fortify it if needed. This arrangement is simple enough for musicians with intermediate playing skills, but it does require good breath support for the many long tones, and it also has a bit of syncopated rhythms. Duration: 4 minutes.
