Piano Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.956562 Composed by John Menzies MacFarlane. Arranged by Emilee Yates. Christian,Contemporary,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Score. 4 pages. Emilee Yates #6516791. Published by Emilee Yates (A0.956562). This arrangement is a musical journey depicting God in our everyday life. It was arranged at a very turbulent time in my life when I wondered if God was really there and if He really cared to help me. When listening to this arrangement you will hear anguish, you will hear a soul who's questioning their worth, you will sense some pain. You will also hear and feel that God has not left this soul alone. He is right there riding the waves of life with us whispering, Dearest child, I am here. Let me help you. Let go of the pain and let the Savior take it from you.  This is a musical illustration of God playing an active roll in our real life. Through all the different experiences, the ups and downs, there is beauty. Just like each part of this music plays a part in creating a complete piece, each part of life - turbulent or calm - creates a beautiful existence. .

Concert Band - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1027468 Composed by Keane Southard. Contemporary. Score and parts. 40 pages. Spindrift Pages #546437. Published by Spindrift Pages (A0.1027468). Do You Hear How Many You Are? for Concert Band was originally written in April and May of 2010 for SATB choir. I made this concert band arrangement in 2012. The origins of this piece and text come from a very interesting experience I had in December of 2009. I have been learning a lot in the past few years about the state of our world and the many huge problems and crises we are faced with in the near future, and this discovery has been so daunting and overwhelming to me. So much change needs to happen in order for the near and long-term future of our world to be just and stable that I have felt a lot of guilt over my choice of profession. Why have I chosen to be a composer and musician when I could make more of an impact on solving these problems if I were a scientist or policy maker etc.? I have been struggling to find a solution to this dilemma for a while now and I just happened to be thinking about it, while filled with lots of stress and worries, one night as I was falling asleep in December of 2009. At the moment when I was in that state halfway between sleep and consciousness, I suddenly heard the line Do you hear how many you are? in my head, yet I felt as though I didn't come up with the line but that it was said TO me. I was instantly comforted, as if a load fell off my shoulders, and then I began to hear it being sung, which I knew was the beginning of a choral piece. I woke up, wrote down the music I was hearing (about the first six measures of the work) and then wrote down this entire poem. I truly feel that this message came to me for a reason, and that I need to share it through the music I create. Those of us who want to change the world for the better are not alone; we are many and we will make our voices hear in order to heal the world. -Keane Southard Duration: c. 3 minutes Grade 2 -Finalist, 3rd International Frank Ticheli Competition -Premiered April 19 2013 by the Minot State University Symphonic Band, Devin Otto, conductor Website: keanesouthard.instantencore.com.

C Instrument - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1101538 By Jack Leonard with Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. By Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein. Arranged by Davi Rocha Campos. Broadway,Film/TV,Instructional,Jazz,Musical/Show,Standards. Lead Sheet / Fake Book. 1 pages. Davi Rocha Campos #704916. Published by Davi Rocha Campos (A0.1101538). This score is in G, but, the audio is in Ab How to read accidents in sheet music Lesson 9 Signs of change. This class is about sharp #, flat b and bequadro (I can't do this sign by keyboard. That's why it's important to watch this class that will be on the card in the upper right corner). There are still the signs of double sharp x or ## and double flat bb. Don't be folded bequadro. I ask permission to use pleonasm Sharp # function: raises the pitch of the note by a semitone up. Makes the note a semitone higher. B-flat function: lower the pitch of the note by a semitone down. Makes the note a semitone lower. Double sharp x or ## function: raise the pitch of the note by one step. Makes the note a higher pitch. Double-flat bb function: lower the pitch of the note by one tone. Makes the pitch of the note a lower pitch. Bequadro function (I can't make this signal by keyboard. That's why it's important to watch this class that will be on the cards in the upper right corner). Nullify both the sharp (whether it's doubled or not) and the flat function (whether it's doubled or not). The bequadro still cancels the accidents of the key signature. Lesson 10 Bars and bar numbers It is a vertical line placed on the pentagram. It serves to organize the writing of the score in a Cartesian way. When the amount of beats exceeds the measure, it is necessary to place the vertical line and continue in another measure. This is one of the reasons to know the bar count. Another reason is when a large group is going to rehearse a song and it is often necessary to stop the rehearsal in order to make necessary adjustments. In this case, to optimize the rehearsal, the music is not restarted from measure 1, but from a few measures before the adjustments made, whether by the group, conductors, etc. The barline cancels out the accidentals that occur. For example, if an F# note appears in the middle of a piece of music, when that F moves to the next measure, it will no longer be sharp. The barline also cancels the bequadro in this situation, that is, if by chance the music is not set to a key other than C major or A minor, when the bequadro appears precisely on the keynote note, in the next bar if it is not spelled again, the key signature accident takes effect.
