This fun piece is loosely based on a popular Russian folk polka. In 1853 Charles Czerny took this polka tune and created a piano etude as part of his set Amusement des Juenes Amateurs. I have taken some of his themes and adapted and arranged them for instrumental solo. I have assembled them into a Rondo form: Intro-A-B-A-C-A-D-A-Coda.  
It is an etude (study) to sharpen your playing of scales, arpeggios, melodic interval leaps, and various articulations. But it doesn't at all sound like an exercise because of the playful nature of the polka. This dramatic piece shows your technical accomplishments while delivering a crowd pleasing tune with great flourish.
I have marked it as Intermediate in difficulty as a general average. The notes and rhythms are Easy, the quick Tempo makes it Early Intermediate, and the range which is a half step beyond a full 2 octaves makes it Advanced Intermediate for some instruments.

German traditional Christmas Song Tochter Zion, freue dich = Daughter Zion, rejoice by Georg Friedrich Händel arranged for family band or every random band with multiple various and variable instruments in every color and key.
Year after year, the whole family comes together and eventually tries to perform Christmas songs on the fly.
This arrangement of the traditional chistmas song Tochter Zion (Daughter Zion) offers several parts for many variable instruments in their specific notation forms.
The voices can be combined ad libitum. The score also offers decent vocal scores with the original german and also english lyrics.

Dieses Arrangement des Weihnachtsklassikers JTochter Zion beinhaltet Noten für die gängigsten Hausinstrumente.
Alle Stimmen können miteinander kombiniert werden. Die Gesangsnoten sind vernünftig notiert und den Liedtext gibt es auf Deutsch und auf Englisch.

This arrangement of the classic carol 'I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day' (WALTHAM) is a great addition to a holiday themed school program, church service, and Christmas contests and recitals. As with any song, the lyrics are very important, even when performed instrumentally as in this case. The emotions of the poem are imitated in the music. Encourage listeners to follow along by printing/displaying Henry W. Longfellow's well loved text: I heard the bells on Christmas day Their old familiar carols play, And wild and sweet the words repeat Of peace on earth, good will to men. This arrangement functions very well for both a moderately advanced solo trumpet and trumpet duet. The duet part is more intermediate, making it a great option for an intermediate level student, or a less experienced player.
