Op. 3/1. Ernst Eulenburg & Co. GmbH - Digital #Q40759. Published by Ernst Eulenburg & Co. GmbH - Digital (S9.Q40759). Key: D major.

Piano Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.990522 Composed by Lars Peter Schultz. 20th Century,Contemporary,Instructional. Score. 26 pages. Lars Peter Schultz #3488707. Published by Lars Peter Schultz (A0.990522). The inspiration for these pieces comes from piano pupils who can play the piano to some degree, and who can read the basic note values, but need a boost in their ability to read which tones to play when they see the notes in a staff. The pieces strengthen the pupil's knowledge and familiarity with the seven basic notes a-b-c-d-e-f-g in several octaves in both hands. All pieces have a Danish and an English title. It starts with a rather easy piece followed by a progressive series of pieces. In total 12 pieces for piano with different tempi and characteristics. The music has a touch of minimalism in that the musical material employed in each piece is rather limited. Like only using the note c in various octaves in the first piece, only the note g in the second piece, two notes c and g in the third piece and so on. The only piece which employs the 7 notes a-b-c-d-e-f-g is the last one. No piece includes sharps or flats. Have fun!***My website: www.larspeterschultz.dkMember of KODA (Danish performing rights organization) : https://www.koda.dk/eng

String Quartet String Quartet - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.987857 Composed by Robert M. Greenberg. 20th Century. Score and parts. 121 pages. Robert M. Greenberg #115423. Published by Robert M. Greenberg (A0.987857). Preferred Contact Information: RMonteverdi@comcast.net Performing Rights Organization: BMI Website: robertgreenbergmusic.com Facebook Band Page: facebook.com/RobertGreenbergMusic Duration: ca. 21 minutes Year of composition: 1988 Program Note: !. Games (fast) II. Intermezzo: Dreams of Gold (slow) III. Dances (very fast) Child's Play was completed in August, 1988. In no way does the title refer to the technical demands of the piece, which are considerable. Rather, it refers to the endlessly imaginative, energized, and constantly changing play that might be engaged in by four different, though like-minded children. Indeed, the inspiration for the quartet was my then two-year-old daughter Rachel, whose boundless energy and capacity for play I found (and still find) rather terrifying. Child's Play consists of three movements: Games (fast), Intermezzo: Sogni d'Oro (Dreams of Gold) (slow), and Dances (very fast). In Games, four energetic and well-rested players leap out of the starting blocks together and engage in sport of various kinds: running games, chasing games, teasing games, tag, echo games (Simon Says), races, and so forth, eventually returning to the unison from which they began. Intermezzo: Sogni d'Oro (Dreams of Gold) offers a quiet, episodic, dreamlike respite from the frenetic mood of Games. In Dances, the energized character of the first movement resumes, only faster. Dances is a perpetual motion movement in three parts, with a slower, more fragmented middle section sandwiched between a boisterous and frenzied dance of life. This movement ends much in the same way as the first movement began, bringing the circuit of the piece to a close. Child's Play was commissioned by, and is dedicated, with many thanks and great appreciation, to the Alexander String Quartet.

D-Project Co., Ltd. #922858. Published by D-Project Co., Ltd. (A0.1337052). Chant de Mars draws its inspiration from the vast, unexplored terrain of the planet Mars. Envision a scenario where someone belts out a tune on the Martian surface—ever pondered what their vocals would resonate against? The intricate time signatures, weaving between 6/8, 3/8, 4/8, and various others, contribute to the melody's enigmatic quality. It's as if the musical composition hesitates on a definitive starting point, maintaining an air of mystery throughout.

Piano Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.914314 Composed by Philip P. Bliss and J. Lincoln Hall. Arranged by Heather Knezevich. Christian,Romantic Period,Sacred,Spiritual. Score. 4 pages. Songs of Praise #6301753. Published by Songs of Praise (A0.914314). This beautifully expressive arrangement for advanced piano solo draws inspiration from Chopin's Ballade No. 4, Op. 52. It begins with the refrain of the hymn, It Is Well with My Soul in the key of A-flat major, then continues to the verse (in D-flat major). The first verse is thoughtful: When peace like a river attendeth my way... The melody occasionally moves between the hands. In the second verse, it build intensity: Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come... The key changes to B-flat major and transitions to a simpler style for the second hymn, Does Jesus Care? It returns to the key of D-flat for the final triumphant verse: And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight... It ends thoughtfully, echoing the opening phrase of the arrangement. This piece is suitable for advanced pianists looking for a recital solo or church offertory. The composer is an active church musician and welcomes your input!

Chamber Orchestra - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.890767 Composed by Georg Philipp Telemann. Arranged by Sneakwood Editions. Baroque,Classical. Score and parts. 41 pages. Sneakwood Editions #4781035. Published by Sneakwood Editions (A0.890767). Edition based on Ms. D MÜu, ms. 775Score (20 pages) and Parts (friendly performance edition): Violino principale, Violin I, Violin II, Violin III, Viola, Violoncello and Harpsichord. The Violin Concerto in A major (TWV 51:A4), which has come to light only fairly recently, does not take as its musical model the song of the nightingale (as in ‘La Bizarre’ [TWV 55:G2]) or of the goldfinch (Vivaldi), but the croaking of the common frog, also called ‘Reling’ in certain regions of Germany, whence the concerto’s subtitle. Nothing better could be expected of a composer who found inspiration even in crows and in the out-of-tune playing of village musicians! Although this concerto, which the manuscript attributes to Telemann, bears traces of his personal style, other features, such as the exceptionally high solo part, leave room for doubt. At a structurally important point in the first movement the soloist produces no more than a succession of repeated notes, ‘a-a, a-a’, which infect the other parts as well. Of course, this is the vowel that the frog croaks, given a distinctive tone-colour by use of the open A string and stopped D string. But worse is to come. In the second ritornello the orchestral violins ‘forget’ the beginning of their theme, whilst the cello inappropriately pushes its way into the foreground. The setting of the second movement (Adagio), probably a moonlit stretch of shallow water, then audibly inspires a pair of courting frogs to make sweet music together. We are given the opportunity to rejoice in their croaking offspring in the concluding Menuet and its rapid Double. This movement entirely dispenses with concertante sounds of nature and thereby betrays its origins in the suite, where it always takes its accustomed place in Telemann’s music. If we knew that a satirist was at work in this ‘Relinge’ Concerto, someone who was deliberately exhibiting all these deviations from good taste, then we could infer with some certainty that the composer is indeed Telemann. Since his own concertos ‘smack of France’ (as he puts it in his autobiography of 1718), we may most likely credit him with permitting his not at all ‘sullen old heart’ a little joke at the expense of the relevant concertos of a certain Italian composer… – Peter Huth (trans. Flute Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.964349 Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Leyandder Trustworthy. Baroque,Christian,Instructional,Standards,World. Individual part. 8 pages. Leyandder Trustworthy #6219791. Published by Leyandder Trustworthy (A0.964349). The present collection was the result of research and dedication, in order to analyze and select well-known works of good execution, for this instrument (flute), unfortunately, it was necessary to leave some better known works out of the collection, such as: Toccata and Fuga in D minor; BWV 565 and the Brandemburgo Concerts, as soon as, these are not so favorable for execution on wind instruments, as well as they are of high difficulty. The purpose of this work is for beginners and interediate practitioners on wind instruments, and it can be used effectively by teachers and musical educators who need a material of easy accessibility, as well as good reading and interpretation quality. This material also has the aid of a cipher to be used in accompaniment of a harmonic instrument, because there is not always the availability of a professional pianist to accompany the student. In view of the above-mentioned considerations, I conclude by saying that the inspiration for the fabrication of this work is due to the reality observed in many music schools that are in a precarious state, not only of musical instruments or basic teaching materials, but also the lack of good quality musical editions accessible to educators and students, so that they have access to the great works making our musical future guaranteed of good musical quality and accessible to all.AIR ON THE G STRING; BWV 1068ARIOSO (Sinfonia); BWV 156GAVOTTE I; BWV 808FUGUE IN C MINOR; BWV 847bMINUET IN G MAJOR; BWV Ahn. 114MUSETTE IN D MAJOR; BWV Ahn. 126BOURRÉE; BWV 996PRELUDE; BWV 1007JESU, JOY OF MAN'S DESIRING; BWV 147BADINERIE; BWV 1067MINUET; BWV 825

Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.533595). Ancient Airs (2004) for solo flute was written for and is dedicated to flutist Sandra Ragusa. It is in two movements, each with a spirit of ancient airs re-imagined in a modern context. The ancestry of the modern flute as a folk instrument is the inspiration for the work's concept. They should always be played with a lyrical, singing approach.Beyond the Mountain uses as its basic musical material a simple transformation of a modalmelody in D minor. Gradually tones are added borrowed from other modalities. The openingsection is slow and lyrical. The middle section is more active -- contrasting the D minorchord tones with the added diminished tones of the first section. The final section recalls thematerial of the opening with a wider transformation.Forgotten Incantation uses a wider modal language than the first movement. Although stillgenerally slow and song-like, it is more energetic. Energetic gestures interrupt and drive thesong narrative forwards.

Choral Choir (TTBB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.943040 By Toto. By David Paich, Jeff Porcaro, Prince Lamont Board Priese, and Robin Dimaggio. Arranged by Jonathan Kilhams. Pop,Rock. Octavo. 18 pages. Jonathan Kilhams #4797945. Published by Jonathan Kilhams (A0.943040). About the pieceAfrica is a song by the American rock band Toto. It was included on their 1982 album Toto IV, and released as a single on September 30, 1982. It reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart on February 5, 1983 (the band's only number one there), and number three on the UK Singles Chart the same month. The initial idea and words for the song came from David Paich. Jeff Porcaro explains the idea behind the song: a white boy is trying to write a song on Africa, but since he's never been there, he can only tell what he's seen on TV or remembers in the past.Paich said: At the beginning of the '80s I watched a late night documentary on TV about all the terrible death and suffering of the people in Africa. It both moved and appalled me, and the pictures just wouldn't leave my head. I tried to imagine how I'd feel about if I was there and what I'd do.In 2015, Paich explained the song is about a man's love of a continent, Africa, rather than just a personal romance. In 2018, Paich explained the song is about a person flying in to meet a lonely missionary. As a child, Paich attended a Catholic school. Several of the teachers had done missionary work in Africa, and this became the inspiration behind the line I bless the rains down in Africa.About the arrangementI have tried to keep as much of the original material used by Toto as possible, within the confines of a male voice choir arrangement. The arrangement is for TTBB and piano and can include sound effects made by the choir at the beginning to imitate rain and a thunderstorm. A bongo/djembe drum can be played through the choruses to add more of an African percussive feel. My thanks must go to Gareth Giles who helped create the piano part for this arrangement.Duration: 4 minsAdditional Parts & Social MediaIf you require any additional learning parts or rehearsal tracks then please contact me directly through www.jonathankilhams.com. I am also on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram so please let me know if your choir are planning to sing my arrangement - it is always nice to know where in the world it is being performed.
