Flute - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1142355 By Stewart J Wallace. By Adolphe Adam (1803-1856). Arranged by Stewart J Wallace. Chamber,Christian,Christmas,Holiday,Praise & Worship. 3 pages. Stewart J Wallace #742733. Published by Stewart J Wallace (A0.1142355). This is the short score of the three flute parts of an instrumental arrangement of the well-known Christmas anthem O Holy Night! by Adolphe Adam for flute trio, 'cello, and piano. This arrangement is flexible, so could be performed without the piano accompaniment, or with solo flute or two flutes and piano. At the climax of the piece the upper two flute parts split into further parts, which would suit a large flute choir. Separate parts are available for the 'cello (which could be played on bassoon) and a full score with all parts (3 flutes, 'cello and piano). This arrangement can also be used alongside the SATB arrangement.

Voice Duet Voice - Digital Download SKU: A0.951380 Composed by Tunes: a Silesian Folk Melody and one by Andrea J. Tressler. Arranged by Andrea J. Tressler. Sacred. 6 pages. Andrea J. Tressler #5884821. Published by Andrea J. Tressler (A0.951380). The $4.55 cost includes one full set of parts: a piano-only part, a vocals-only part, and a full score – enough for the use of a vocal duet or even a quartet!  This arrangement is one of a set of short, simple, 2-part ladies’ arrangements of well-known hymns with easy to learn parts. For this hymn arrangement, the original melody is used for the first verse and the ending, but a new flowing melody is featured in the center section. The vocal range keeps it accessible to the average singer, with the soprano staying with the melody line with only a few minor changes. It was written especially for teen ladies so that they might learn the great hymns of the faith in interesting but easy arrangements. If you purchase this arrangement, I would love to hear from you! Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.733590 Composed by Bill Gaither and Danny Daniels. Arranged by Amy J. Snyder. Contemporary. Score. 20 pages. Amy J. Snyder #4809515. Published by Amy J. Snyder (A0.733590). I've Just Seen Jesus is a classic contemporary Christian hit, made famous by the duet recorded by Sandi Patti and Larnelle Harris in 1985. It tells the exciting story as told by Mary at the time Jesus was dead and buried in the tomb, finding the empty tomb the 3rd morning, and then actually seeing the resurrected Jesus and speaking to Him! This arrangement includes the soprano and tenor duet (with a few of the high tenor notes lowered), guitar chords, and the piano accompaniment in advanced intermediate level. The first chorus is in the key of B Major, and then modulates to C major for the dramatic finale. A must sing for the Easter season or any time you want to celebrate Jesus' resurrection. Words are by Gloria Gaither, music is by William Gaither and Danny Daniels; arranged by Amy J. Snyder. © Copyright 1984 ARIOSE MUSIC (ASCAP) and HANNA STREET MUSIC (ASCAP) ARIOSE MUSIC Admin. at EMICMGPUBLISHING.COM  All Rights Reserved.

J. Ricketts (1881 - 1945) a British Army bandmaster who later became the director of music for the Royal Marines at Plymouth. Since service personnel were, at that time, not encouraged to have professional lives outside the armed forces, F. J. Ricketts published his compositions under the pseudonym Kenneth Alford. Supposedly, the tune was inspired by a British military officer who preferred to whistle a descending minor third rather than shout Fore! when playing golf. It is this descending interval that begins each line of the melody. English composer Malcolm Arnold added a counter-march, which he titled 'The River Kwai March' for the 1957 film 'The Bridge on the River Kwai'. On account of the movie the 'Colonel Bogey March' is often incorrectly credited as the 'River Kwai March'.
