Choral Choir,Choral (SATB divisi) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1347140 By Charlie Puth. By Charlie Puth, Daniel Smyers, and Jordan Reynolds. Arranged by Jacob Klingsten. 21st Century,A Cappella,Contemporary,Pop. 14 pages. Jacob Klingsten #931792. Published by Jacob Klingsten (A0.1347140). That's Not How This Works by Charlie Puth is a 2023 pop hit with chilling harmonies and a confrontational message on setting expectations. This arrangement is for SATB a cappella groups or choirs and sits at an intermediate level for the high school/collegiate age. While there isn’t a vocal percussionist part in the score, it is recommended to perform this arrangement with one, as the score indicates entrances and exits for the VP.This arrangement features three soloists, all with their own respective line in the score. If one wishes to, the third solo part can be merged into the other two solo parts. While this piece appears to be difficult, the fairly repetitive nature, mostly homophonic texture, and limited range of the vocal parts eases the learning process.Additional Details: Key: A Major 14 Pages Length: 2m 43s Ranges: Soloist 1: F#3-E5 Soloist 2: F#3-E5 Soloist 3: F#3-A4 Soprano: C4-E5 Alto: G#3-A4 Tenor: D3-E4 Bass: F#2-A3 (Optional D2) If you would like the score changed to fit your ensemble's needs, the practice tracks to this piece once purchased, or if you are looking to have a new arrangement commissioned for your ensemble, please let Jacob Klingsten, the arranger, know at jacobkarranging@gmail.com. Choral Choir,Choral (SATB divisi) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1349490 By Sam Smith. By Ed Sheeran, Fred Gibson, James Napier, Johnny McDaid, Samuel Frederick Smith, and Steve Mac. Arranged by Jacob Klingsten. 21st Century,A Cappella,Contemporary,Singer/Songwriter. 16 pages. Jacob Klingsten #934182. Published by Jacob Klingsten (A0.1349490). Who We Love by Sam Smith is a moving ballad that has beautiful harmonic integrity. This arrangement is for average- to larger-sized SATB a cappella groups, and sits at a intermediate-advanced difficulty for high school/collegiate groups. This arrangement is similarly for the a cappella group looking to explore cluster chords while fulfilling a slow, but moving ballad slot for your song set. While there isn’t a vocal percussionist part in the score, there is a slight amount of body percussion involved in the second verse, which can be replaced by a vocal percussionist if desired. This arrangement features incredible harmonies, including many cluster chords that sound full and rich; these cluster chords are often met with two- and occasionally three-part splits within each voice part, which makes it crucial for each part to be solid. If your group does not have enough members to satisfy the three-part splits, one of the notes can be omitted for a similar sounding product. Additionally, there are two solo opportunities featured, each with the exact same range. If only one solo is desired, the soloist can simply follow the melody. Finally, this arrangement also has a unique ending -- instead of ending on the four (IV) chord, like in the original recording, the final progression resolves to the tonic with a tear-jerking minor four (iv) to one (I). Additional Details: Key: B major 16 Pages Length: 2m 50s Ranges: Solos 1/2: F#3-G#5 Soprano: C#4-D#5 Alto: A#3-F#4 Tenor: F#3-C#4 Bass: F#2-F#3 (optional notes between B1 and E#2) If you would like the score changed to fit your ensemble's needs, the practice tracks to this piece once purchased, or if you are looking to have a new arrangement commissioned for your ensemble, please let Jacob Klingsten, the arranger, know at jacobkarranging@gmail.com. He will change the score to your needs (within reason) and provide practice tracks at no additional charge to your purchase, and he typically charges $50-75 per commissioned arrangement. Percussion Ensemble Bass Marimba,Vibraphone,Xylophone - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1117126 By Louis Prima & Keely Smith. By Jacob Jacobs, Sammy Cahn, Saul Chaplin, and Sholom Secunda. Arranged by Jörg Richter. 20th Century,Broadway,Jewish,Musical/Show,Standards. Score and parts. 7 pages. Jörg Richter #718714. Published by Jörg Richter (A0.1117126). Bei Mir Bistu Shein is a popular Yiddish song written by lyricist Jacob Jacobs and composer Sholom Secunda for a 1932 Yiddish language comedy musical, I Would If I Could (in Yiddish, Men Ken Lebn Nor Men Lost Nisht, You could live, but they don't let you), which closed after one season at the Parkway Theatre in Brooklyn, New York City. The score for the song transcribed the Yiddish title as Bay Mir Bistu Sheyn. The original Yiddish version of the song (in C minor) is a dialogue between two lovers. Five years after its 1932 composition, English lyrics were written for the tune by Sammy Cahn and Saul Chaplin, and the English version of the song became a worldwide hit when recorded by The Andrews Sisters under a Germanized spelling of the title, Bei mir bist du schön, in November 1937 (From: Wikipedia.org). Here is an arrangement for 2 Marimbas.
