From the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie, this is a pastiche of a 1920s showtune, almost perfectly engineered to serve as a barbershop contest up-tune. It features a harmonically-rich, conversationally-paced introduction, before launching into a catchy tune, sparkling with cross-rhythms and internal rhymes. The vocal ranges are all readily accessible, with the main challenges coming coming in some syncopated passages that will want a light and accurate touch.
